An Eclipse caste Solar, Fuma Golden Tiger was a monk living in the deserts of the south in his home built around an oasis. Bearing obvious significance as being a safe haven for travelers, it also served as a dojo for the few students who chose to stay there. A small place, out of the way, known by few besides those who lived there or well-versed travelers. Sobou came to this place as a child of 15, having been lost in the deserts after his caravan was ravaged by bandits, and wandering days on end to find a sign of humanity. The benevolent Solar took the boy in, and for a decade and a half he trained, remaining there doing so far past Fuma Golden Tiger's other students. At that point, Fuma Golden Tiger decided that Sobou's training could no longer progress as a mortal, and bade him farewell. Sobou, however, had known this for a long time. And having no goal in life besides his pursuit of perfection and Enlightenment, he realized what he had to do. He spoke with all his compassion and courage, challenging his esteemed and fatherly master to a duel to the death, knowing full well that his master was a chosen of the Unconquered Sun. In that instant, the Unconquered Sun saw Sobou's impossible determination despite the pain of his heart, and crowned him with a mantle of the Zenith. And with that, Fuma Bloody Tiger accepted his pupil's challenge, and the battle commenced. The fight lasted for a full day as the two Solars fought, but in the end Sobou stood tall. Well, alive, at least. Fuma Golden Tiger gave his dying breaths to give him the name Sobou Bloody Tiger, choosing him to some degree as his own heir. After a proper burial, Sobou Bloody Tiger took up the equipment his master once wore, and bid the oasis dojo farewell as he set out to follow his self-proclaimed "Path of the Bloody Tiger", defeating all who stand before him as he seeks personal perfection and Enlightenment. He has wandered for many years since then, defeating opponents and traveling the deserts. === Appearance === Roughly 6' tall, mid-to-late 30's, fairly well build, well-tanned skin, and red hair flecked with gray kept back in a samurai-ish looking ponytail by a hair clasp. A bit of perpetual graying reddish stubble on his face too. Wears a tan shirt and grayish pants under his armor, simple desert boots and a sizable desert traveler's robe over it of a mix of earth tones with a stylized tiger design on the back, the kind of robe used to keep sand out of such armor. The armor looks exactly like the artifact Lamellar in the core book, though made of orichalcum. He keeps his Gauntlets of Distant Claws on all the time, though they're hidden by the robe's large sleeves for the most part, but when seen, they look like plain bracers of steel and orichalcum with a garnet/bloodstone on the back of the wrist. The claws, when out, are 5-inch long broad claws of orichalcum. The last inch or so of the claws have a slight reddish tint over the gold orichalcum while the claws are attuned, reminiscent of bloodstains.
