==Class== ===Basic=== ====Starfall==== The Starfall is the only Asuryani Cruiser that doesn't share a name with its smaller cousin Wraithship variant, the Prismatic. Like the smaller version of itself, the Starfall benefits from the wide arc Heavy Lascannons, being low maintenance as far as giving orders to keep it damaging the enemy fleet, with an occasional attack run made necessary to properly score hits with torpedo salvos. Having 8 torpedo tubes as opposed to the Prismatic's 4, along with the already high dps and crit output, puts the Starfall at level with the offensive firepower of other factions capital ships. It is worth mentioning that the two Heavy Lascannon ships essentially double the firepower of the standard weaponry, along with the special weapons, from the Light Cruiser version, whereas the Pulsar Lance Cannon options only carry an extra 50% firepower when it comes to standard weaponry. This makes the Starfall one of the best options for bringing high dps at an affordable (relatively) cost. Overall armaments are 8 Torpedo Launchers and 4 Heavy Lascannon Artillery. *Length: 4.5km *Mass: 15.8 megatonnes; approx *Crew: 15,300 crew; approx *Acceleration: 8 gravities maximum sustainable acceleration ===Carrier=== ====Ghost==== Ghost-class Dragonships is essentially a bigger version of the Ghost-class Wraithship. The Ghost Dragonship has the best complement of weapons like the Wraithship, since it combines the launch-in-any-direction squadrons with the Broadside-capable with Runic Targetting orders and four Heavy Lascannons. This combination of weaponry means you can set auto to engage orders with a broadside attack profile at max range to keep the Ghost firing away while it uses its speed to dodge more fire than it would make head-on strafing runs or using head-on engage orders which you never want to do, since it causes ships to come to a stop when in range, in turn dropping your highly needed holofields. For the benefit of this convenience and the insanely high on paper dps and crit chance, you'll be paying a point cost second only to the Phoenix Battle Cruiser. It is armed with 2 Launch Bays carrying Darkstar Fighters and Eagle Bombers and 4 Heavy Lascannon Artillery. *Length: 4.5km *Mass: 15 megatonnes; approx *Crew: 12,400 crew, including 6,000 pilots and support staff; approx *Acceleration: 8 gravities maximum sustainable acceleration ====Moonray==== A lance-boat/carrier hybrid. Of the two Cruiser carriers, the Moonray is the least preferable outside of special situations, just like the Moonray-class Wraithship, hindered by combining launch bays that don't require strafing runs to use properly, with the Pulsar Cannons which demand it. Typically this is a ship you'll find yourself benefiting from taking, only when facing heavily armoured enemies, though if you don't have a problem managing all your micro needs, you shouldn't find the Moonray to be as hindering. It is armed with 2 Launch Bays carrying Darkstar Fighters and Eagle Bombers and 3 Pulsar Lance Cannon Beams. *Length: 4.7km *Mass: 15.5 megatonnes; approx *Crew: 13,000 crew, including 5,700 pilots and support staff; approx *Acceleration: 8 gravities maximum sustainable acceleration ===Lance-boat=== ====Firestorm==== The lance-boat of the Dragonship family. Equipped with Torpedo launchers and Pulsar Lances. As mentioned above on the Moonray section, the notable difference between this Firestorm and its Wraithship cousin is the fact that, compared to the superficial look at the Pulsar Cannon Beam vessels, is the reality that the Firestorm and Moonray only get a 50% boost to their standard weapon offensive power, as opposed to the 100% boost the Lascannon ships get. Just like its little brother, the Firestorm Dragonship is a vessel that benefits from having torpedo racks on a ship that already needs to be positioned in strafing run attacks to fire its limited arc, armour-piercing beam weapons. Unlike the smaller variant, the Firestorm also takes the spot of the cheapest ship in its class, falling 8 points under the Starfall. It is armed with 8 Torpedo Launchers and 3 Pulsar Lance Beams. *Length: 4.7km *Mass: 17 megatonnes; approx *Crew: 18,100 crew; approx *Acceleration: 8 gravities maximum sustainable acceleration
