Sera slumped forward and landed in the mud,  for a moment she felt peace in what had become a life of pain and misfortune. 

A shroud of darkness started to encompass her vision, she could barely hear what the Mon'Keigh were saying.

One of them asked "Why didn't you kill the bitch?"

"Better to let her suffer, like the mangy whore she is." he replied, laughing "Plus, its a little thank you for giving me the best fuck I've had in years!" 

Then they started to walk off, laughing all the way. 

When the craft disappeared over the horizon, Sera's eyes finally closed, and she felt the hands of [[Slaanesh]] leaping out of the warp to grasp around her. 

Before the demon's hands managed to touch her body, a flash of light appeared. 

Sera's eyes opened once more, to the friendly face of a female guardian. 

"Bless Isha, I was afraid you were gone forever... I have only stabilized the wound but we must return to the evacuation point." 

Sera, looking down, saw the hole in her chest was plugged, but blood was faintly leaking from the wound. She whispered softly "I am now only a husk of what I used to be, I am better off dead..." 

Her new companion paused, and hugged Sera, whispering, "Do not worry, it....do not lose faith....." before lifting her up like a child and carrying her away from the wreckage.

Sera's body started to feel cold, and her eyes looked at the wreckage once more...before she blacked out from the pain.  

After what appeared to be mere moments, her eyes faintly opened and she was surrounded by a female healer, and the same guardian who saved her life.  Sera looked at her body; her wounds having been properly healed -- only a faint scar remained to remind  her of the ordeal she suffered -- but something else seemed off....

Before she could find out, the healer introduced herself, "I am healer Maishara," and pointed to Sera's savior, explaining "and this is Elisia, the one who performed the emergency aid to save your life.  How are you doing, Sera?" 

Sera replied faintly, "I-I am fine...h-how long have I been here for?" 

The female guardian replied, "You have been sleeping for many cycles; we were afraid that you would never have woken up." 

Sera turned to the healer and spoke in a soft voice, "I-Is there....any permanent damage, Healer?" 

The Healer, looking for advice, turned to Elisia, simply who nodded. 

Maishara replied in a saddened voice "You are pregnant with the seed of a Mon'Keigh, your....child will be expected to arrive soon.....  " 

Sera then realized what was wrong with her body: her stomach was slightly bloated, her womb containing the child of her attackers. Tears started to exit her eyes as she wept and begun to curse the Imperial Guardsmen.

Her two companions stood there, and waited for her to stop yelling...

After many hours, Sera stopped and her reddened face stared blankly at the ceiling  Elisia muttered "Sera, the council have heard your .... predicament and have decided that you shall care for the child." Sera, emotionless face still staring at the ceiling, nodded once.  "I have asked for temporary leave from the Guardians in order to take care for you, is that okay?" 

Sera nodded once more.

Maishara spoke "Now that you are awake, I shall take my leave.  Please contact me with the ward's communication system if...you need anything else," and with a slight flurry of her robes left the room. 

Elisia summoned a grav chair next to Sera, and grasped her hands "Do not worry, it will....get better"

Sera simply muttered "Understood...."
