== Fluff == When a potential champion is born, there is celebration in Valhalla. as a result of this excessive celebration -on top of the usual brawling, feasting and drinking- a brass tankard, strips of leather and cutlery fall from the tables and plummet down to the mortal planes. The impact of the items on the ground cause the metal to flatten and melt over the leather, forming the belt. Then as the cutlery impacts the hot brass, words of song are inscribed in five languages: Draconic, Orcish, Human, Elven and Dwarven.

''"True Champions Proudly Display / Ferocity, Strength, / Skill at Arms, / Honesty and Loyalty / in all Challenges of Life."''

It is said that once the potential champion finds the path of the Barbarian, they subconciously pick up a second language based on which sub-phrase of the belt they uphold the most. Those that pick up Draconic often are boastful and desire all eyes on them and their pride. Those that pick up Orcish are fierce and value strength above all. Those that refine their Common language will often be more dignified and measured. Those that pick up Elvish will never tell a lie. And those that pick up Dwarvish will always accept any challenge.
A potential champion will be led to their Belt through their actions. The closer the potential champion remains to the words of the song (displaying their strength and skill while upholding themselves (and those around them) to remain honest and accepting and calling out challenges to strong foes), the sooner they will find their Belt.
Once a potential champion finds their Belt, they are deemed worthy enough to travel to Valhalla should they die. The Belt becomes bound to the champion's soul. However, the Belt is a constant reminder of the champion's status and the words of the song as a fragment of their soul is infused into the Belt. Thus whenever they strays too far from the path (i.e making the concious decision to lie purely for personal gain, not displaying their losses as equally as proud as their victories or declining a challenge of their skill at arms) the Belt will inflict punishment on the champion (Most commonly a numb feeling in the fingertips or bad dreams reminding them of their failures. Sometimes it goes as far as dulling the sensation of pleasure dervied from food, drinks, smell or physical acts, making life dull and bland).
