The Bekaak aren't the only kind of vampire that can grow old, but they are the only ones who can then reverse that aging. They can do this by entering Torpor, but the more effective approach for them is to literally steal the youth from another being, vampire or otherwise. They're closely affiliated with the Lancea et Sanctum, who see them as a fine example of the inevitability of God's judgment. 

Their bane, apart from aging, is that they cannot easily lie to anyone whose Integrity equivalent is greater than their own.
