== Inventory ==

Not much beyond flame-resistant rags and his hearthstone, and whatever Mask of Winters has provided him, a pair of Soulsteel hearthstone bracers, and a set of Soulsteel Razor claws. The claws usually remain hung loosely from his belt at his sides, underneath small excesses of his various rags where they can remain mostly unseen until he needs them.

'''Tormenter Claws of the Phoenix:''' Soulsteel Razor Claws. ●● Speed 5. Acc +6. Damage +5L. Defense +2. Rate 3. Attune 6.  Drains motes of essence equal to wielder's permanent essence score when at least one lethal damage is dealt. Also adds 2 dice to climbing rolls.

'''Silk Armor:''' Taken in the sack of Thorns, this silk armor is a robe reminiscent of fire dragonblooded designs. He has not washed the blood off of it. Attune 2. +5L/+3B soak. 

=== Manses and Heartstones ===

When the Mask of Winters brought his exaltation into him, Phoenix asked for only one thing. To bring the world to burn, as it had done to him. The Mask was reluctant at first, but he knew that a time was soon coming in which that sort of.. pressure may need to be applied to creation. 

Eventually this brought to Phoenix's use a creationborn manse near Chaya. He was surprised, at first, and immediately went about spending a while doing whatever the Mask asked of him until he felt the debt repaid. The manse was quite the sight, with beautiful white walls and a rather pristine garden. Phoenix couldn't very well have that, and as he took his newfound hearthstone he pledged to turn the manse's grounds into a shadowland someday. Someday soon.

The Gem of White Heat which he obtained from that manse acts as a conduit for essence, producing an anima effect identical to Fire Dragonblooded's, other than it does not increase with just the expenditure of peripheral essence. On the other hand, each used mote of essence to power the anima counts as double.
