Introduced in 1e's Saturnine Night sourcebook, the Impossibilities are Prometheans created by demiurges who belonged to one of the supernatural races, who somehow found the drive to abandon their normal "creative rites" and tap into Pyros to breathe life into a new Promethean, coloring it with their own supernatural nature. Examples given in the sourcebook include a "vampire Promethean" with the Humour of Vitae, who can refuel Pyros by drinking blood, and a "werewolf promethean" with the Humour of Moonlight, who can fly into a berserk frenzy. In 2nd edition, these Prometheans are mentioned as one of the many possible forms the Extempore lineage can take.
