'''Personal''': A relatively new recruit to the Witches, Sergeant Shina (“Shinako” to those who get close to her) Iwamoto is a very shy, yet capable pilot.  Born to a typical Fuso household, Shina was raised with strict adherence and loyalty to the empire and its ideals.  <br>

Although she idolized the Witches, like every other girl in Fuso, she seemed destined to be a student of the art of ikebana (flower arrangement), which had been a tradition among the women in her family for generations. However, at the age of twelve, her latent magical abilities were finally shown when, during a rigorous study session, she suddenly disappeared for a period of ten minutes. At that point, her life was dedicated to training to become a Witch, to protect and serve the Fuso Empire.  <br>

In combat she pilots a Kawanishi N1K2-J (after her original striker unit, a Mitsubishi A6M5 Model 52 Reisen was destroyed after a failed surprise attack on a Neuroi hive), and her weapon of choice is a standard issue 22mm Type 99 (Oerlikon) cannon.  Although she goes into combat heavily armed, Shina is generally cautious before making a combat or tactical decision.  Despite having the power of brief invisibility, her magical abilities have yet to reach their full potential – sometimes landing her in dangerous situations.  <br>

'''Appearance''': Shina is of average height and has shoulder-length brown hair and brown eyes.  She generally wears a traditional Fuso Naval uniform to pay homage to her homeland. She is always seen wielding a traditional Fuso tanken, which was awarded to her after her first kill, which she also carries with her into combat.  <br>

Although she has a very timid personality, she seems to end up in a fair share of embarrassing and awkward situations – usually involving her breasts or "pants."  Despite being well-endowed (to say the least), she is surprisingly agile in both combat and training missions.
