=== Appearance ===
He is a man among men, standing seven feet tall at the shoulder  and towering higher still. The tip of his black hat brushes the low hanging murk of ill-aspected clouds above. His chest is bare and bristling with thick black hair, like his beard which hangs down to it and has braided into it the coins taken from the eyes of thirteen dead men. His much-scarred arms are covered by an old, white linen shirt, open from neck to crotch. His blood-red eyes glare out across the seas which he would make his own, burning with ghostly flame and hunger for the thrill of treasure. A black cape flutters in the cold wind behind him, the Jolly Roger taken from his old ship and woven with the souls of thirteen pirates to make a shroud. A sword, black as night, hangs from his belt, thirsting for new blood to be spilled onto it.
