===History===
Freyja was the sister of [[Frey]], both of whom were born among the Antalian tribes that inhabited what would become the Heldannic Freeholds, and the ancestors of the people of the Northern Reaches. The two of them were less warlike than their fellow tribesmen, believing that fighting should serve a more noble purpose than conquering and raiding. The two of them eventually undertook the Path of the Epic Hero and ascended to Immortality in the Sphere of Thought sponsored by [[Odin]]. Freyja now acts as Odin's recruiter, searching the world for people for Odin to sponsor to Immortality, and souls of fallen heroes for him to reincarnate to do good in the world.
