'''Bastion:''' The smaller kid brother of the Stronghold. The Bastion is the ''other'' Squat ship that is often seen forming as the main skeleton of a Prospector fleet. These smaller ships act as vanguard to the larger Strongholds and often assist in helping them rip apart smaller celestial bodies like asteroids or comets for mining purposes. They are also rather infamously linked to their services with the [[Tau]] [[Kor'Vattra]], albeit only for Squats known as the [[Demiurg]]. They are powerful warships equipped with boarding devices, lasers that can melt through ship hulls with ease, and also work as a very nifty merchant transport and mining vessel. Bastions will often have a single Demiurg Brotherhood inside it, with a Stronghold of Demiurg typically making up 2 or more vessels.
