==Units Overview== [[File:Unit Identifier O12.png|thumb|Unit Identifier O12]] ===Light Infantry=== *'''Alpha Unit:''' *'''Andromeda, Sophistes of the Steel Phalanx:''' The forward deploying S4 CC-nightmare of Aleph- with guard, so nothing within ZoC stays safe. Take the midfield with her and let your doggo blow up anything dumb enough to move close to her, as she's packing D-Charges. If you're not using the explosives to murder they also make a good use for completing objectives- which she also can do as a specialist. *'''Bluecoats, Naval Security Detachments:''' *'''Casanova, NOC Operative:''' *'''Cyberghosts, Quantronic Intervention Unit:''' *'''Deva Functionaries:''' Outrageously high stats and enough profiles to solve any number of problems, Devas make both great backline Lts or frontline combatants. *'''Flight Officer Agnes Ferreira:''' At 14 pts Agnes is mainly a cheap generic WIP13 specialist with sixth sense and an SMG to turn into a roadbump vie suppression fire after her button pushing is done. *'''Kappa Unit:''' The Kappa is your standard line infantry. They come around at a slightly pricey 12 points for the combi rifle profile, but are fairly well-rounded in terms of stats. An average 14cc and 10 ph mixed together with a pretty good wip of 13 and bs of 12. In addition, kappas come with shock immunity, which can save a life occasionally. Sadly, these guys fall a little short when you realize they do nothing sepcial but are still a fairly good unit. *'''Lawkeepers, Badlands Patrol:''' *'''Lynx Unit:''' *'''Nyoka Assault Troops:''' *'''PSI-Cops:''' CB pushed the Cyberpunk flavor hard with that name. **'''Ensign Katherine Cho, Psi Unit:''' O-12 have created the ultimate lieutenant by borrowing one of the millions of spare holomasks haqq has lying around from their dead bashis, giving said unit wip14, and doing nothing else. Cho is good for two things: Acting as a cheap CoC for when your LT zeta dies to a Morlock you forgot about or acting as a cheap LT when you don't need an LT as a push-piece. She's a great pick, and while her primary role as a leadership piece is surviving, you can do some funni stuff with holomask. *'''Specialized Support Unit Lambda:''' *'''Team Sirius:''' ====Mercenaries==== *'''Authorized Bounty Hunters:''' Regular in N4, the Authorized Bounty Hunter’s most common role is the Sniper ARO piece: for 19 pts and 0.5 SWC it is a steal, especially if you roll high ARM or Mimetism/ODD on the Booty table. It is also ironically enough the one profile whose model is nigh impossible to get and the one that has least use of the generally available Bike model. Spitfire might be good for low point games as a backup killer piece. Has a 1 in 20 chance to bring Smoke Grenades, which is the only way to get them in PanO. **'''Miranda Ashcroft, Authorized Bounty Hunter:''' A cheap active turn killer unit, kind of curbed by her short range weapons. Still, (Mimetism-6) goes a long way. *'''Cube Jäger:''' Irregular parachutists, both profiles bring Paramedic, which seems to be their whole schtick. With WIP 13 they can do the button pressing quite well though and having a SMG and an e/mitter can be very useful to scare away the opponents units after a button is pushed. *'''Knauf, Outlaw Sniper:''' While MSV1 snipers weren't that attractive in N3 the Outrage poster boy turned a whole lot hotter. BS (+1B) and Shock is nasty, and MIM (-3) makes using him a bit safer. Besides that he's not doing much, but that trait also keeps him at an affordable price. *'''Monstruckers:''' SPAAAACEEE TRUUUCKIIING! Monstruckers are cheap irregular engineers with Climbing Plus and a bunch of nice weapon options. The cheapest loadout comes with an SMG and Drop Bears, making it ideal to push a button and turn their position into a foxhole afterwards. The other two loadouts are also quite useful, just pick the one supplementing your lists loadout the most. *'''Oktavia Grimsdóttir, Icebreaker's Harpooner:''' A mercenary character with BS (+1B), Sixth Sense and Dogged. Whith a Missile Launcher and a Contender her role is as an ARO piece, but since she's expensive and barely filling any holes anywhere the main reason to bring her is the cool sculpts she got. *'''Parvati, Circle League Star:''' Is a potent doctor AND engineer at WIP15. One of the few doctors actually patching up two wounds at once. 6-2 Mov makes her zoom around really fast, 2 STR, 2 ARM 6 BTS and remote presence make her really resilient, letting you patch up fallen HI even in dangerous areas. *'''REM-Racers, Mercenary Hacker-Pilots:''' These mercenaries bring quite the fun mechanic into the game: With REM-Driver they can buff a remote in the list depending on which loadout you pick! There's also a hacker profile, which is good to have in PanO. *'''Shona Carano, Special Instructor and Aristeia! Swordmaster:''' Hits like a brick with her (+1Dam, AP) CC attack on 26s, and wields a EXP CC weapon on top. Good luck trying to hit her as she dodges on 17s. *'''Warcors:''' 3pts for an irregular Flash pulse ARO. Fit them into your list whenever you got the slot and points, they're well worth it as a speed bump and inconvenience. *'''Wild Bill, Legendary Gunslinger:''' He's fast at MOV 6-2, got (+1Dam) and shock on his BS, also he's got marksmanship and NWI. Neither the rifle nor the contender have a nice range band, but with the MULTI pistol he's got a positive range band from 0-12", which overall makes him an unpleasant close-range fighter. ===Medium Infantry=== *'''Crushers, Special Naval Demolition Team:''' *'''Delta Unit:''' **'''Cuervo Goldstein, Basilisk Level Delta:''' *'''Epsilon Unit:''' *'''Saladin, Naval Liaison Officer:''' ====Mercenaries==== *'''Armand ‘Le Muet’, Freelance Killer:''' Costs quite a bit, but with Mimetism-6 and Transmutation (W), Le Muet makes for a hardy sniper. In PanO he competes with some other, very good MULTI Sniper units for the role and with HI for points though. ===Heavy Infantry=== *'''Betatroopers, Remote Activity Unit:''' *'''Bronzes, Deep Space Peacemaker Corps:''' Doesn't have as much appeal in vanilla as he's got in Starmada, but still packs a punch. *'''Gamma Unit:''' *'''Hector, Homerid Champion:''' *'''Omega Unit:''' The Omega is essentially just an Orc with mimitism -6, a heavy riotstopper, and iq above 80 (wip14) in exchange for a reduced speed of 4-4 and costing more points. It's a very versatile unit with a little bit of everything. Not only is the Omega hard to kill with template weapons or bs weapons due to the mimitism and riotstopper, but it also packs a good punch with relativley powerful weapons plus the on bs 14 plus the reliable riotstopper. An overall great hi choice if you need a push-piece to contest objectives and models, but aren't too keen on burning a third of your points on a zeta and parvati. *'''Raptor Boarding Squad:''' ===Tactical Armor Gear=== *'''Zeta Unit:''' ===Remotes=== *'''Dakini Tacbots:''' These guys act like remote presence LI with Mimetism (-3), being essentially an expensive line trooper option with a bit more resilience. You usually want to take these for the grenade launcher, as they are the only unit with them in O-12's army. *'''Fuzzbots:''' Classic S4 Baggage bots with an EVO profile, as well as a combi TR option. *'''Copperbots:''' Typical for S3 remotes these coppers come in a bunch of flavors. **'''Kyttä:''' The classic cheap Flash pulse bot. **'''Millicent:''' Guided missile launcher. Especially good with O-12's above-average e-war and repeater network. **'''Oko:''' The FO combi rifle gunner bot. Comes with sensor. **'''Peeler:''' Peels the opponent with their TR HMG. *'''Yudbots:''' Aleph Helper bots, on loan to O-12! ===Warband=== *'''Hippolyta, Amazon Officer:''' A premium warband, without smoke but '''really good''' at CC thanks to MA L4 with an EXP CC weapon. Dodge (+2"), MIM (-6), Super jump and NWI make it easier for her to reach her targets. The Breaker Combi Rifle is a great general threat. WIP 14 on a Flash Pulse is no slouch either! *'''Liang Kai, Wandering Shaolin Monk:''' He pays for being regular and a lot of tools making him war more resilient, and deadly! For 21 points he isn't even close to being expensive given all the great warband tools he gets. *'''Varangian Guard:''' Viking warbands with classic warband traits as they come, impetuous, greater-than-20 cc, direct template weapons, smoke grenades, though they got Dogged for that extra bit of resilience! They're an auto-include due to being O-12's only source of spammy melee warbands and smokes, and fill a bunch of roles no one else really can for cheap. Note that with beasthunters and prospectors, there are now more options for cheap bodies. ===Skirmishers=== *'''Gangbusters, Special Crime Squad:''' *'''Razor Unit:'''
