= House Rules = === Thamaturgy === Characters Automatically know (Essence - 2) arts with (Occult / 2, round up) degrees of it. So if you're Ess 6 you get 4 arts at degree 3 with occult 5. Extra Ability Minimums are not enforced. === Combos === you may buy a combo as per regular Exalted rules with the following changes. * The first time you add a charm to a combo, it costs its ability requirement in experience. Each following time costs one less, to a minimum of one. For example, second excellency will always cost 1exp, but seven shadow evasion will costs 4exp the first time, 3 exp the second time, 2 the third and 1 every time thereafter. * You can add Charms to an existing combo by spending experience equal to what it would take to add them to a new combo. This requires training an equivalent amount of training time. Buying combos this way is to encourage the development of signature moves ===Combo Summary=== *Permanent Combos are purchased with experience and subject to training time equal to the total among ability minimums required to learn each charm. These work as written in Exalted Core with the above exceptions. =='''Character Creation Notes'''== ===Increasing/adding backgrounds=== Players earn new backgrounds and background dots at ST discretion based on in-character play, or metagame suggestions.
The more awesome stuff you do, the more likely you'll get dots.
All background dots acquired after character generation, can for 3xp each, be granted 'plot armor'. Which is to say that they cannot be removed by idle chance or through normal course of play. Best example would be Resources. If you spend 3xp per dot, your resources cannot again be lowered past the dot you spent to, due to in-game purchases and the like. The implication is that at that point, your character in incredibly financially secure, like Batman. This plot armor does not necessarily protect against ALL eventualities, but it protects from random chance. For example, buying a large city will set you back. But it is player choice. This plot armor applies to most backgrounds, including Artifacts found or taken at chargen, Followers, Manses, etc. Discuss all theoretical purchases with the ST first. == Backgrounds and Assets == Let's just move this [[Campaign:Troubleshooters/Backgrounds_and_Assets| over here]], shall we? === Experience Totals === *Ronen: 370 *Generation: 378 *Triumph: 383 *Sasuke: 368 *Crystal: 378 --- *Promise: 71 *Corva: 206 *Chei: 206 *Martaby: 207 *Iron Fist: 92 *Bolt: 91 ----
