==Biology==
Ostensibly, the Vyre are similar to their humanoid progeny; indeed, some low ranking Vyre could pass off as human or Eldar quite easily with a little care. However, such similarities are only skin deep, and not even complete at that.

Vyre are taller and slimmer than humans in build, however they do not match the Eldar in that regard. The vyre average height is 1.85 meters in men, 1.78 in women. The most prominent feature of the vyre are their unusual eyes and teeth. The pupil is constructed like a cat or lizard for better reaction time and night vision. Eyes also have a nictitating membrane which can filter in or out infrared radiation, allowing for heat sensitive vision. The iris and sclera are very differently coloured to similar mortal races; in young vyre the sclera and iris are wine red and yellow-orange, changing to indigo and white at around 3000 years and then to black scelera with ice blue iris after approximately 10000 years (this has led to the term Red-eye referring to a young adult, particularly ones who frequently make rash decisions or get into trouble, in Vyrran slang. Conversely, calling someone "blue eyed" would parallel to calling them wise, calculating or of good social standing). The mandible is a stem cell bed, meaning that teeth always regrow
