Use standard Dynast character generation EXCEPT where noted; only combat\military related dots are mandatory ( Melee\MA, Archery\Thrown, etc ) AND you must have a minimum of 2 dots in War, with the rest of your dots allocated as you see fit. You must have a minimum Breeding of 3+! This is before the Contagion; their bloodlines are not so diffused as the Dragon-Blooded of the Second Age. At least 1 dot in Backing ( your Gens ) must be taken -- you are a proud officer and samurai of your Gens; why are you not supported by them? Finally, a 1 dot of Command must be taken -- what sort of proud samurai or daimyo does not have loyal men willing to fight and die by his side?
