==Intro== ''The Lavendel Family was, and still is, a noble house of Sylvania. The members of the family were turned to Vampires along with the rest of the Sylvanian nobility, due to the machinations of Vlad von Carstein. The Lavendel family themselves own the Manor Lavendel and the modest amount surrounding lands and villages, near to one of the dark forests of that land. The current leader of the house is Lady Alicia von Lavendel. She was among one of the vampires tasked by Vlad to travel to Mordheim to collect the precious Wyrdstone, in preparation of his grand and terrible plan to conquer the Empire. Alicia dutifully departed, taking with her the most loyal of her human retainer. While she will certainly send Vlad his due, Alicia is also paying attention for opportunities to increase the fortune of her House'' ==Stats== '''Warband Rating:'''103 '''Gold Coins:'''3 '''Treasury''': '''Wyrdstone:'''1 '''Heroes Advancement:''' 2, 4, 6, 8, 11, 14, 17, 20, 24, 28, 32, 36, 41, 46, 51, 57, 63, 69, 76, 83, 90 '''Henchmen Advancement:''' 2, 5, 9, 14 ==Heroes== ===Lady Alicia von Lavendel=== ''Alicia von Lavendel is a member of the small but proud Lavendel family of Sylvania, currently working under the dark orders of von Carstein in Mordheim. Alicia has a stately manner and comes off as polite and cultured. She is also rather respectful to her human subjects. However, her bearing should not be mistaken for actual mercy. Alicia can be kind to humans, but still considers herself above them. And she has little patience for those who would get in her way or defy her. Early into her foray into Mordheim, Alicia "died" having had a bullet put into her heart by the Pistollier Mad Maxmillian. However, her faithful Necromancer accumulated the expensive regents required and returned her to unlife. She is furious that a mere mortal bested her, but also now tempered with caution.'' Having recently arrived on the edge of this desolate city, I set about today to start scouring an area of it for Wyrdstone. As the city is large, I divided my group up. I took care of the zombies, directing them to scour a large area of the city. My other servants went north and themselves split up to search a larger area. It was quite dreary work, having to manage the corpses in their searches. Suddenly a heard a noise from the north and the whole horde took off in that direction. It turned out that Ofelia and my guide, Marrowtooth, had been ambushed! Some group of brutish humans and an ogre had ambushed them while they were about in the ruins and been quite thoroughly beating them. I hurried to catch up to my horde, which was of course shambling as quick as they could after the scent of living flesh. Upon seeing what these humans had done, I was quite reasonably enraged and rushed forwards. Two of the humans (strangely identical looking) and the monstrous ogre attempted to block my path. However, I was in no mood for such games and set about them with mother's rapier and father's woodaxe. I took one of the human's eyes - a fitting price for his impudence of blocking my way. The other human then proceeded to run from me and I chased him down, knocking him to the ground - but at this time my zombie horde was nearly arrived (I really must ask Anselm about speeding them up or some such) and the humans all fled. The one I was attacking escaped as well as I was distracted by Zachtlen coming to inform me of our losses - apparently Anselm had also been attacked! Thankfully my necromancer was unharmed, though the lad I sent to guard him was sadly found dead, his skull staved in by one of those mercenary's blades. Marrowtooth and Anselm were alright, though poor Ofelia had her leg trod on by the ogre and will need some time to recover. As for the lad, Johan I believe it was, well, that is quite a shame. Anselm informs me the boy attacked the mercenaries directly. Admirable, but foolish. I allowed Anselm to take the corpse for now - fresh subject matter is a rare commodity, after all. Speaking of rare commodities, I managed to continue the Wyrdstone search while Anselm and Zachtlen helped Ophelia back to base. We managed to find three Wyrdstone shards, which I have sent via bat back to Drakenhof. I believe Count von Carstein will be most pleased. On a more personal note, I found one of the zombies gnawing on a corpse that apparently had been drained of blood. It of course makes sense that there are other vampires operating here, though I'm currently in no mood to attempt to contact them. Working with amateurs would likely only slow my process, and lead to competition for corpses. As well... it's in my best interest to return the largest haul of Wyrdstone, is it not? There's no need to let glory and influence trickle down to others needlessly.'' ==See Also== [[/TG/heim]]
