Religious reverence for the priesthood was encouraged and cultivated, leading to a population with unimaginable devotion to their masters. The [[Eternal_Zealots|Eternal Zealots]] pacified Cleman in 928.M30, an action what came to be known as the '''Cleman Decapitation'''. Over 92% of Cleman's priesthood were slaughtered by the superhuman enforcers of the Imperial Truth, determined to stamp out the superstitions and heresies preached. Unfortunately for the Zealots, the worship of the people of Cleman merely changed to a new source - the Astartes themselves. The people of Cleman volunteered to fight for their new gods and so the Cleman Enduring were born. ==Organisation== The Cleman Enduring come from a world of relative peace and stability, and so pale in combat effectiveness compared to other Imperial Army units. However, the fanaticism and numbers of the Cleman Enduring allow them to overwhelm their enemies through sheer attrition. Many of the Enduring are expected to perish in their battle and so training is often kept to the bare minimum in order to produce troops faster. Leadership in the Cleman Enduring often comes down to numbers, with officers drawn from the Club of Five - soldiers who have survived over five combat operations. ==Doctrine== The Enduring have an inflexible battle plan that usually revolves around application of a massed infantry charge. While this strategy often leads to the complete annihilation of regiments, more complex battle plans cannot be implemented effectively due to the poor training of the Enduring. Instead, members of the Enduring rely on their natural savagery, making suicidal bayonet charges to weaken the enemy and draw fire away from more important assets. Still, veteran members of the Enduring have emerged over years of campaigning, with uncanny survival instincts and immense skill in close-quarter combat. ==Wargear== The Enduring suffer from the same logistical issues as the Eternal Zealots and so possess the bare minimum of equipment for combat, with little to no specialised equipment. A unique development cultivated amongst the Enduring is the use of the Z3 nerve clamp, a neck implant that can be activated in battle to block the user's sense of pain. Through the nerve clamps, even the most poorly trained member of the Enduring can fight to the death despite even the most debilitating of injuries. =Homeworld= ==Notable Regiments== ==Notable Enduring== {{/tg/-Heresy-IA}}
