'''The Daemonic Legions''' were a variant [[Hordes of Chaos]] army in 6th edition [[Warhammer Fantasy]], released as part of the [[Storm of Chaos]] event. They were basically the prototype for the [[Daemons of Chaos]] army that was splintered off into its own force in 7th and 8th edition Warhammer Fantasy, as well as the equivalent editions of [[Warhammer 40,000]], and represent a force composed entirely of [[daemon]]s marching to war against the mortal realm.

==Special Rules==
* Chaos Ascendant: All Daemons in a Daemonic Legion gain +1 Leadership, and their Daemonic Ward Save is replaced by a 5+ Ward Save.
* Legions of the Gods: You may only include non-True Core Units equal to the number of True Core Units you have for that same Chaos God. That is, each True Core Unit (a squad of [[Bloodletters]], [[Daemonette]]s, [[Plaguebearer]]s or [[Horror]]s) you have, you may take 1 Core Unit, 1 Special Unit, and 1 Rare Unit of the same god.
