pf-stub Groetus is the skull-faced moon that overlooks Pharasma's Boneyard, and also a god in his own right. Possibly inspired by D&D's Atropus. Allegedly, he is waiting until the last living creature dies on the Material Plane, at which time he will move in to clean up and pack the dust away for another reality. Groetus will then fade from existence once he has confirmed that nothing is left; yet, just like how Pharasma came from a previous reality, a new Survivor will escape the destruction to recreate the cosmos. Cultists of Groetus have many theories about how their god will manifest in the End Time and what his ultimate role will be. These theories or interpretations are known as dooms; and the proponents of each particular doom may be seen as members of a splinter cult of the faith. This creates quite the variety of cultists, with some circles even hopping onto Urgathoa's hedonistic party-boat. A loose interpretation could also see him labelled a god of endurance, what with him being determined to be the very last in existence. However, it is recommended that you try and not ask Groetus what his deal is, as direct contact has led to many (including a few Outsiders) losing their minds completely. ==Gallery== <gallery> Groetus AP64.jpg Groetus ISF 1.jpg Groetus ISF 2.png|His rare human form Groetus priest ISF.png|A worshipper of Groetus.
