One of the Champions of the Spheres classes, the Prodigy is a very peculiar class. It has full Blended Training and is a 3/4 BAB and Mid-Caster, but has a mechanic known as "Sequencing" that lets it perform unique actions, spell effects and attacks based on the situation. First, it starts with an Opener; then utilizes Link components, and finally unleashes a Finisher. Finishers' effects are based on how many successful links were performed; and can include multicasting Sphere effects, getting a touch attack, getting multiple attack actions, or automatically threatening critical hits. Uniquely, every first party Sphere - both Might and Power - provides special finishers to assist in giving the Prodigy more options. They can imbue their sequencing with magic spheres; and can even perform a pseudo Martial Flexibility to gain additional Combat and Magic talents. It's definitely a complex class to look at, but getting the right build can make some incredible combos. ==5E== The Prodigy made its way into the 5E conversion of the Spheres, remaining effectively compatible with both Power and Might, though it's just as easily able to work without using Spheres of Might and can even gain Martial Focus without them. Aside from that, their combo system remains as broad as ever, with openers and links being conglomerated into one piece now. As such, the Prodigy does depend on both their choice of spheres as well as subclasses to give particular specialties. *Battleborn is as vanilla as it gets. Without SoM, it grants fighting styles and easier crits like Champion Fighters, but with SoM those fighting styles turn into floating martial talents that can be swapped out during rests. *Mimic's Calling allows the Prodigy to analyze other maneuvers to learn how to temporarily copy them. *Savant's Calling is more magically aligned, granting extra floating magical talents that can be swapped out each rest as well as the ability to spend Martial Focus in order to throw spells back at their casters. PF-3PP-Classes
