| The Chainsword is a fuckawesome meele weapon, heavily fielded by Imperial forces although the Eldar do also use the weapon. As it's name mentions the chainsword is a twin-bladed weapon with a saw blade in-between that's powered by a motor mounted on the hilt of the weapon and activated with a trigger that it present on the grip of the weapon. Although the Chainsword is virtually issued to most imperial guard forces, the sword is most famous with the [[Space Marines|Spehss mahreens]] who widely fields the weapon as the primary weapon of their assault troops and veteran soldiers.
