The Man you wish you could be.

"Born in the year of the metal rat in the latter half of the 20th Century, Jes Goodwin was educated in Fine Art at Trent Polytechnic, Nottingham. He has been sculpting for twenty-one years, sixteen of those with Games Workshop. He has also worked as a freelance artist, sculptor and writer prior to discovering that full employment always beats starving in garrets. His renowned designs for Games Workshop have included the Space Marines, Eldar and Tyranids for Warhammer 40,000, and High Elves, Chaos and Skaven for Warhammer. He has two children and a string of lock-ups in his home county of Essex."

– His Black Library Bio, before it got nuked

Jeremy 'Jes' Goodwin is an artist, concept artist, and sculptor working as Senior Miniatures Designer for Games Workshop. His work involves designing/sketching sickass concepts for the CAD-Monkeys to put into 3d and can be seen in a variety of factions across Warhammer 40.000 and Warhammer Fantasy.

Influence on 40k[edit]

The Factions injected with the sweet sap of this mans creative juices. Chances are if it's not a Rogue Trader mini it was designed by Jes.

"But wait!" I hear you exclaim, "Isn't that every Faction?". Yes, how perceptive of you, dear reader! This absolute madman filled absolutely every faction with his potent creative goo. Sure he works with a team of designers and concept artists who all have some amount of influence on the factions and their own designwork, but none to the extent of the man who has Bolter patterns named after him.
