| Live-Action Roleplaying is a particular style of enjoying roleplaying games that can be basically summed up as "when an amateur theater group decides to hold a Dungeons & Dragons night". Instead of just sitting around a table and talking about what your character does, a LARPer attempts to physically act out what their character is doing and saying. The most hardcore LARPers will even attempt to dress up like their character and use props to better present the mood.

Plus, they have an eerie similarity to the furry fandom in the eyes of many.

| White Wolf and its "Storyteller" systems have long been particularly popular with the LARPer crowd, and even named its particular rules system as a direct attempt to sell itself to LARPers overall.
