Whilst Minions is a general term for underlings in common parlance as a whole, here on 1d4chan, we're using it to talk about one of the factions of Warmahordes by Privateer Press. Essentially the Mercenaries analogue for the Hordes line, Minions represent various lesser races of humanoids on Immoren who aren't powerful enough to be a full-fledged army (although eventually that changed, so now you can field all-Minions armies), but instead often get hired as extra muscle by the other beast-focused factions or sometimes even the human factions, since Hordes and Warmachine are cross-compatible that way.

The most prominent Minions "subfactions" are based on two races; the Gatormen and the Farrow. But there are a handful of other races represented amongst their ranks, and even some human(oid)s as Warlocks or Solos.
The Minions faction is broken into three subfactions; "True" Minions - units of really minor races or characters who can be taken by other Horde factions as mercenaries, the Gatorman Blindwater Congregation and the Farrow Thornfall Alliance, these latter two subfactions representing once-minor races growing in power amongst the wilderness of Western Immoren. There's a certain degree of overlap; many units or charactres associated with the Congregation and the Alliance can also be taken as mercenaries by the other Hordes forces.

Gatormen
The Minions force debuted in HORDES: Primal Mk II, with new units being added in the HORDES Mk II: Domination, Gargantuans, Exigence and Devastation supplements.
Gatormen are, obviously, a kind of lizardfolk based on humanoid gators. They are notorious cannibals who feed on anything weaker than they are, led by necromancer "Witch Doctors" who practiced a Voodoo-themed religion. The biggest, strongest and most mindlessly hungry of all gatormen are known as Blackhide Wrastlers.
If someone on /tg/ is instead referring to the horrible yellow tictac people from Despicable Me in a non-negative fashion, it is considered morally righteous to shoot them in the face.

Bloody Barnabas: The most famous and fearsome gatorman bokor in the swamp. Eventually upgrades himself through magical ritual involving his suicide by sacrifice to rise as a gatorman lich "demigod" known as Barnabas, Lord of Blood.

Calaban the Grave Walker: A particularly powerful gatorman necromancer.

Jaga-Jaga the Death Charmer: Despite being a female albino, Jaga-Jaga is one of the most powerful bokors in the swamp, and has risen to the status of High Priestess of the Blindwater Congregation through her skills.

Maelok the Dreadbound: A former rival of Bloody Barnabas, Maelok found himself first killed by his old enemy, and then raised as his undead slave, still possessing the ability to wield his dark magic, but helpless to obey Barnabas.

Longchops: A gatorman mercenary who has adopted the human ideology of using guns to hunt monsters.

Farrow
The orcs of Immoren... wait, Trollkin are still a thing... okay, the old-school Dungeons & Dragons-style orcs of Immoren, then. A race of savage humanoid hogs. Their threat has been growing thanks to the alliance of the warchief Lord Carver and Dr. Arkadia, resulting in their ranks being supplemented with all manner of monstrous surgically engineered horrors and cyborgs.

Lord Carver BMMD, Esq. III: Self-proclaimed smartest, strongest and most favored of all the farrow warlords. The first warlord to hire Dr. Arkadius to "improve" his tribe's warriors.

Helga the Conqueror: A legendary female farrow warlord, who is even accompanied by an elite guard of farrow warrior-women called the Valkyries.

Midas: A powerful farrow "bone grinder", or necromancer.

Maximums: A farrow warlord who has doomed his soul by taking up an Orgoth fellblade, a cursed sword that compels him to kill all in his reach.

Rorsh & Brine

Targ: A deformed farrow who has served as Dr. Arkadius' assistant for a long time, giving him a surprising aptitude for taming, leading and even patching up warbeasts.

Sturm & Drang: Once two of Lord Carver's mightiest warriors, Arkadius killed them with one of his creatures, then stitched the remains together with the addition of parts from a giant razor boar and brought them back to life as one unique abomination, with two heads and a centaur-like body construction.

Humanoids
Dr. Arkadius: Immoren's equivalent to Dr. Frankenstein, Arkadius was obsessed with discovering ways to strengthen and improve the human body after his beloved little sister died of illness. Rejected from polite society for his shocking experiments, he instead turned to using the infamous durable farrow as experimental test fodder, and to this end has become the power behind their recent rise.
Professor Viktor Pendrake: The most legendary naturalist in all of Immoren, Viktor is a student of the many races and monsters of Immoren. His most skilled and devoted students, Lynus Wesselbaum and Edrea Lloryrr, often either join him on the battlefield or take his place.

Others
Bog Trogs: Fishy humanoids who inhabit the swamps; smaller, weaker and dumber than the gatormen, they are frequently used as slaves and food by the scalykind, who often reanimate their corpses as zombies for added measure. Bog trogs love to eat gatormen when they can get the chance, but really they'll eat anything they can bring down. They have a named character in Rask; a bog trog warlock who sold his own tribe into slavery in order to study magic under gatormen bokors.
Swamp Gobbers: Gobber tribes that still live in the swamps... the same ones infested with cannibal gatormen, cannibal fishmen, zombies, giant gators and other monsters. Needless to say, their life sucks.
Croaks: Primitive frog-folk that basically want to kill and eat anything they encounter. They call themselves "Anuras", and they even have their own named character; conjoined twin sorcerers named Kwaaak Slickspine and Gub.
Totem Hunters: Mysterious forest and swamp-hunting humanoids that hunt other races for sport. Basically a Predator knock-off.

Efaarit: A race of hardy tribal nomads native to the Bloodstone Desert whose lives revolve around their belligerent bletcher mounts. Teams of efaarit scouts often hire their lethally accurate and powerful hunting rifles out to the highest bidder.

Thrullgs
Thrullgs: Bizarre tentacle-sporting abominations that feed on sorcerous energies, making them natural predators of arcanists and warjacks.

Snappers: Giant alligators frequently enslaved by the gatormen as warbeasts.

Ironback Spitters: Humanoid swamp-turtles with incredibly resilient shells, a crushing beak, rending claws, and the ability to spray foes down with gouts of corrosive venom. Popular gatormen warbeast.

Swamp Horror: Giant, carnivorous swamp-dwelling octopus-thing... like, have you seen the Peter Jackson version of the Watcher in the Deep from The Lord of the Rings? Basically that. Prized by gatormen as a warbeast.

Boneswarm: A mass of skeletal remains animated by a gatorman bokor as an undead minion.

Razor Boars: Wolf-sized, voraciously predatory boars frequently used by the farrow in much the way humans would use warhounds.
