the neglecta sector - as it is most commonly referred to - is a cluster of twelve stars in the Segmentum Obsurus that's located Right at the top of the galactic plain, it holds nothing of any real note, and it's position means no-one is going to pass through it on their way to somewhere else. Also, since there is nothing really in the sub-sector that anyone's going to want to travel to - especially considering how absolutely uninhabitable almost all the planets in the sector are - this results in even more logistical negligence from the Adminastratum than usual, which actually has it's benefits since nobody has bothered to look hard at this sector since the [[Age of Apostasy]] Resulting in lots and lots of Fraud.

it's actually to small/out of the way/unimportant to be considered a sub-sector and is in-fact a 'non-sector'

Forbidden Data Hive. It is, at least offically, a hive world, but a quick second look at the planet would reveal all the hives are mysteriously empty of actual hive worlders, or anything you'd find in a hive really, but a third, extremely close look at the planet would reveal it is home to an Inquisitor that's maybe raising their own Private Army, and you probably should consider that it is indeed Forbidden - with a capital F - for a very good reason and never, ever come back here again, please move along Imperial Citizen.

A huge Hive World With lots of actual hives & a pop of 16,000,000,000. The armed forces are pretty bad but strangely most of the populace can form into a well trained militia if need be. Doesn't like being associated with the rest of the neglecta-sector despite being the non-sector capital, although when you consider every other world is a huge fucking deathtrap, it shouldn't really be a big mystery as why this is so.

Also commands an OBSCENE Navy, the Armada at its disposal is quite ludicrous in both number & quality. This thing could give some sector fleets a run for their money. There also may or may not be a cult based around Parasites to be found here, which shouldn't come as a suprise because it's the only actually civilized place in several light years of Clavessa Secundus, and thus it's likly everyone prays to the Emperor every day for the Parasites of that place to never spread to this hive world.

bare wasteland that used to be a necron tomb world, until some ancient weapon destroyed it completely, turning it into a ravine filled wasteland with only a low, low 34% chance of C'tan. The only water to be found is at the bottom of these ravines and 61 tribes live dotted around the planet in the bottom of these ravines eking out a living next to the springs. Whenever excess babies are born, they are raised to be warriors of the mighty Emp'rar and leave to join his Mighty Imp'ral guard - a lot of excess babies are born since sex is the ONLY form of entertainment on Deadstone.

In orbit of this rock are 8 emperor class transport ships, crewed by their generational inhabitants that send drop-ships to pick up the planets warriors, where they are given the training they will require (how to shoot a las-gun, drive a basilisk, etc) and are then frozen in cryo-sleep until all eight emperor class battle ships are at full capacity (this takes about six hundred years). Holding cryo cells are sent to the planets surface, and the ships travel to a distant battlefield and the dead-stone braves are deployed in battle, where the braves utalize the tried-and-true Wall of lasers method of battle with their blessed lasguns and are extremely difficult to rout. Once the regiment is too ragged to continue, the survivors are re-frozen as veterans and the ships return to dead-stone, pick up the holding-cells and the cycle continues.

You might think think that this is a colossal waste of eight emperor class transport ships, and you'd be quite right. It is extremely likly these ships where meant for the Hive World Neglecta Primus instead, but a combination of terribly lackluster Administratum issues and the fact The Hive World doesn't actually want to give up it's gigantic Naval force - since they probably won't get it back if it's being sent away to escort 8 Emperor class Transport Ships - means this arrangement is going to continue untill someone higher up actually notices.

A stormy shrine world house a convent of sisters-of-logistics that noticed the huge waste of resources that was Deadstone, and realised they can use the extreme negligence that this must've required to their advantage, and wrested control of the planet from Neglectus Primus in return for using their logistical prowess and the local administrators pathetic presence to secure the hive world it's Ungodly navy. As for the planet itself: as far as Shrine Worlds go, New Regina is one of the harshest. The complex labyrinth of ravines that criss cross this planet may have once housed mighty rivers, but most of this water is sunk into the planet's clay foundations, only emerging surface side as small pools in vast salt deserts.

Here, thousands of pilgrims begin their ascent to the vast Imperial Temples upon their towering plateaus, in their exquisitely carved and painted glory. On the way, the swathes of pilgrimage will have to weather ferocious sand and dust storms, and very rarely, contend with torrential deluges from the skies above. Atop the plateaus, the Ministorum reigns supreme, with numerous fortresses, temples, shrines, statues and other architectural works dedicated in the Emperor's name. They are attended by a token Administorum Presence. In the ravines below, the demands of commerce have created an extensive man-made tunnel system into and under the canyon, such that those wishing to profit from the influx of new customers have somewhere to sell and somewhere to sleep.

These myriad vendors and tradesman are kept in check by a rather zealous and persistent organization of "Devout", who "Demonstrate their faith" by keeping the local populace in line. These Devout are managed in turn by a small cabal of wealthy businesspeople. This cabal bows in deference to the Ministorum, but conduct more sinister business behind their backs. The Inquisition stationed here are tasked with rooting out the criminal and heretical underground that has set up quite literally beneath the Ministorum's noses, in the myriad canyon tunnels. The PDF are eager to assist, but ultimately controlled by the cabal, who play a very convincing innocent facade.

Year round, New Regina's climate never once breaks -35 Celsius, and hasn't done for over a century. Any water taken from the clay stone is liable to freeze within seconds of exposure, bar those saturated pools within the salt deserts. In the rare moments of rainfall, rain turns to hail or snow before it hits the ground. Although the sudden deluge of water might be thought of as a boon by the unsuspecting visitor, the reality is far more deadly - The ravines and canyons that the pilgrims tread are turned into giant slipways for the avalanches of snow or hail built up on the canyon walls. Most commercial residents within the ravine build their storefronts with multiple stories by necessity; after one such avalanche, pilgrims are not known to wait for the ice to clear before continuing their journey. The ice itself does clear eventually, slowly melted by the salts contained within the clay. Where this process is too slow, enforcers drive giant trenching machines through the ice, forcing the assorted ice and bodies outward onto the salt plains.

On the salt plains themselves, the salvage operation begins - Scavengers sort through the piled hail and ice, pulling out bodies and stripping valuables for resale, before cremating the dead in vast pyres. The scavengers themselves are actually paid to perform this cremation service, and to perform rudimentary last rites to the dead. If they were not, the bodies would likely be left, perfectly preserved in the freezing cold. In vast basalt fortresses, the Ministorum trains members of the Ecclesiarchy in proper worship of the Emperor; The freezing climate is appropriate setting for a cult that teaches veneration of the Sun-Emperor - By his light alone does this world prosper. Those caught in dust or sand storms find that such events are made all the more horrid by the cold. Where gale force winds would not freeze one's blood within seconds, the salt whips wicked sharp, cutting through cloth and leather, and even giving some metals noticeable wear.

In the aftermath of such storms, survivors find a lesser known secondary property of New Regina salt: The salt induces mild hallucination upon ingestion and inhalation. In the midst of a dust storm, victims inevitably inhale or ingest quite a bit of it.

Some storm survivors are able to bear the mental brunt of it, and often speak of having visions of the Emperor bestowing mercy upon them. Others simply go mad.

Lightning storms are fairly common occurences, but due to the properties of lightning storms, are unlikely to trouble pilgrims until they reach the plateaus proper. Here, weathervanes draw the lightning down into capacitor arrays for the fortress to draw upon in turn. Ever so occasionally, lightning strikes will instead fry some poor pilgrim, or a passing deacon.

Back on the salt plains and down in the ravines, lightning strikes are much rarer. Where lightning touches down, those caught by it are considered to have suffered the Emperor's displeasure. Being a survivor of a lightning strike is often more deadly than the lightning strike itself, as hordes of devout fanatics descend upon the "heretic". In rare cases, surviving a lightning strike is seen as a sign of the Emperor's favour instead, if the survivor is clever and quick enough in playing the crowd.

Besides the Imperium, little else survives on New Regina. Rumours persist of strange xeno fossils found captured in clay, but such rumours are quickly quashed by local enforcers.

Storm survivors occasionally report large, hulking figures seen in the distance on the salt plains, but these are typically dismissed as hallucination, onset by the salt.

They have also - with the help of a few bribes (Neglecta Primus' mighty armour division comes to mind) and the lack of attention from the Administratum to mess with their tithe payed to resource allocated ratio - continued to abuse Administratum negligence, meaning the squat stars will either pay as much as they get (raise an army of 30000 for the tithe only to have those exact same soldiers stationed on the planet they came from) to getting more then they give (send 8000 tons of steel and get allocated 9000 tons of steel) even though the stars are in a safe location and not at war

However, studies and finding cannot find where the sudden flood came from within a 50-100 kilometer radius. It is as if it came out of nowhere as if divine retribution - Virtually everything underwater is near perfectly preserved even after so long. The Xenos species was bipedal and quite Humanlike, their technology level was approximately late Iron with hints of Steam power here and there. Despite efforts to demolish remains, the local planet prefers to keep it around as a nature preserve for local fauna and as a tourist trap to show off the hubris of foolish xenos. There are other less complete ruins of the xenos but all suggest they were righteously purged by the ancient Vulnuns.

Also house the ragged remains of a Tau fleet - Ethereal Or'la hides the remains of his battle fleet around the planet, the size of the near-by star means that when-ever an imperial ship seeks to enter the system, they can Only De-warp at the very outskirts - leaving the tau time to cloak their ships and hide in the systems Gas-giant. The local Ministurum don't approve, but are convinced that if the Imperium at-large ever found out that they were harbouring Tau then the entire Planet would be Purged (not an un-founded fear) and are hard at work keeping the local population loyal. Not that they have to - the local population are happy under imperial rule, their only real problems come from the weather and local wildlife and the Tau seem two meek to fix that. The cosmic dust in these columns plays with most conventional shipboard instruments, making environmental detection difficult. In addition, all psychic effects within the nebula are dampened. The light of the Astronomican, whilst present, is dimmed here, although entities of the warp suffer similar difficulties. To put it simply, this thing is the rason there are so little Astropaths in this sector.

Rumours of an ancient archaotech world, teeming with treasure and lost secrets, have spurred many foolish captains into Faust's Pillars, with dreams of riches beyond their wildest imaginings. These captains venture forth into the pillars, and do not often return. The other rumour of note is more sinister; a demon of the Warp, unbound from the Ruinous powers, sheltered within the Columns for eons, lest one of the great Chaos Gods see and enslave them. Such a demon would be powerful, but desperate.

The Judgement Citadel belonged to a well-to-do Rogue Trader Dynasty that has since died out well over a millennium ago. The wreck itself is some 2 millennia old. At the initial wreckage, large portions of the ship remained intact, but disconnected and disparate from the others, and although crew losses were near total, the few hundred survivors had the tech and skill between them to repurpose their broken ship into a more permanent semi-stable habitat on the asteroid belt.

Over the centuries, what were temporary solutions became more permanent, as it became clear that no help was incoming. And so the colony of Retribution's Rock was founded, built from the scrap of the Sword of Retribution herself. By nature of pragmatism, most of the tech that allows judgement's Rock to exist is considered tech heresy. This, combined with their unstable political status, left the surviving generations paranoid of persecution.

As such, the colony of Judgement's Rocks reconnected with the Imperium as a loyal, if rather well armed ally, some 500 years ago. Since, there's been an ongoing political struggle between those who would champion the colony's devotion to The Emperor and sheer grit, and those who wish to declare them all Tech Heretics and purge the whole bloody lot of them.

the Ad-mech are in orbit as well of cource, they can't resist ancient human-made machines after all, but are hesitant to tinker with the ancient human tech in case they inadvertently turn it off, as the size and position of the black hole within would surely spell doom for the non-sector. It has thus become a sort-of base for tech priests, who are waiting for re-enforcement or instructions on what to do, but due to all the problems in this sector, it's been about 200,0000 years now and no re-inforcements, Titant Legions, or in fact anyone important will probably be ever sent here.

Space Hulk. The Space Hulk is just a bunch of Orks, Genestealers, and Slaaneshi Cultists getting pissy and killing one another, every 2 1/2 years the Shrien World sends religious fanatics to try and reclaim a Black ship that got stuck in this mess, and the space hulk turns into Orks, Genestealers, Slaaneshi Cultists and Sisters of Battle getting pissy and killing one another. Also, it's infested with parasitic murder trees that are so tough and well armoured, they are pratically unkillable, and also they hunger for Tau flesh. Yes, the Orks bring captured Tau to this death trap. Yes, the Tau do try to take them back and run into the Death Trees. There's a 84% casualty rate and only the presence of a legendary Tau warrior survivor, who is basically Tau Rambo, keeps the enslaved Tau from killing themselves out of despair. Meanwhile, the Eldar come here with their local Not-a-Harelquin madman to hunt the Death Trees for sport. That's not the Dark Eldar - actual, theoretically sane Eldar, who shouldn't even want to be in several light years of a Space Hulk that contains a Slaanesh Daemon Prince, are coming here.

The Neglecta Vulnus Spumae in High Gothic[edit]

Welcome to the Neglecta Sector. We have Parasite-infested Death worlds.

also referred to as: The Shithole, Bumblefuck Obscurus, The Ass-end of nowhere & other such nicknames by its inhabitants often referred to as Where? by those outside the system The Neglecta sector-- as it is most commonly referred to-- is a cluster of twelve stars in the Segmentum Obsurus located right at the top of the galactic plain. It holds nothing of any real note, and its position means no-one is going to pass through it on their way to somewhere else. Also, since there is nothing really in the sub-sector that anyone wantd to travel to-- especially considering how absolutely uninhabitable almost all the planets in the sector are-- this results in even more logistical negligence from the Adminastratum than usual... which actually has its benefits since nobody has bothered to look hard at this sector since the Age of Apostasy, resulting in lots and lots of fraud.

Worlds of Note[edit]

Clavessa Secundus
A Frontier-Death world where every single living thing on the entire planet breeds parasitically. Every. Single. Thing. Home to the Clavessa Bush Brigade and the Clavessa Death Bee. Also The Flesh Lords' favourite stomping ground, to the point of practically being a recruiting and proving ground world.

Reginas
Forbidden Data Hive. It is, at least officially, a hive world, but a quick second look at the planet would reveal all the hives are mysteriously empty of actual hive worlders (or anything you'd find in a hive really). A third, extremely close look at the planet would reveal it is home to an Inquisitor that may be raising their own private army, and you probably should consider that it is indeed Forbidden - with a capital F - for a very good reason and never, ever come back here again. Please move along Imperial Citizen.

Neglecta Primus
A huge Hive World With lots of actual hives & a pop of 16,000,000,000. The armed forces are pretty bad but strangely most of the populace can form into a well trained militia if need be. Doesn't like being associated with the rest of the neglecta-sector despite being the non-sector capital, although when you consider every other world is a huge fucking deathtrap, it shouldn't really be a big mystery as why this is so.

Also commands an obscene Navy: the Armada at its disposal could give some sector fleets a run for their money. There also may or may not be a cult based around parasites to be found here, which shouldn't come as a surprise because it's the only actually civilized place within several light years of Clavessa Secundus, and thus it's likely everyone prays to the Emperor every day that the parasites of that place to never spread to their world.

Deadstone
A bare wasteland that used to be a Necron tomb world until some ancient weapon destroyed it completely, turning it into a ravine-filled wasteland with only a low, low 34% chance of C'tan. The only water to be found is at the bottom of these ravines and 61 tribes live dotted around the planet eking out a living next to these springs. Whenever excess babies are born, they are raised to be warriors of the mighty Emp'rar and leave to join his Mighty Imp'ral guard - and a lot of excess babies are born since sex is the only form of entertainment on Deadstone.

In orbit of this rock are 8 Emperor-class transport ships, crewed by their generational inhabitants that send drop-ships to pick up the planet's warriors, where they are given the training they will require (how to shoot a las-gun, drive a basilisk, etc.) and are then frozen in cryo-sleep until all eight ships are at full capacity (this takes about six hundred years). Holding cryo cells are sent to the planet's surface, then the ships travel to a distant battlefield and the Deadstone braves are deployed in battle, where they utilize the tried-and-true Wall of Lasers method of battle with their blessed lasguns and are extremely difficult to rout. Once the regiment is too ragged to continue, the survivors are re-frozen as veterans and the ships return to Deadstone, pick up the holding cells and the cycle continues.

You might think think that this is a colossal waste of eight Emperor-class transport ships, and you'd be quite right. It is extremely likely these ships where meant for the Hive World Neglecta Primus instead, but a combination of terribly lackluster Administratum issues and the fact that Primus doesn't actually want to give up its gigantic Naval force-- since they probably won't get it back if it's being sent away to escort 8 Emperor class Transport Ships-- means this arrangement will continue until someone higher up actually notices.

New Reginas
A stormy shrine world house a convent of sisters-of-logistics that noticed the huge waste of resources that was Deadstone, and realised they can use the extreme negligence that this must've required to their advantage, and wrested control of the planet from Neglectus Primus in return for using their logistical prowess and the local administrators' pathetic presence to secure the hive world its astonishing navy. As for the planet itself, New Regina is one of the harshest as far as Shrine Worlds go. The complex labyrinth of ravines that criss-cross this planet may have once housed mighty rivers, but most of this water is sunk into the planet's clay foundations, only emerging surface-side as small pools in vast salt deserts.

Here, thousands of pilgrims begin their ascent to the vast Imperial Temples upon their towering plateaus in their exquisitely carved and painted glory. On the way, the swathes of pilgrimage will have to weather ferocious sand and dust storms, and very rarely contend with torrential deluges from the skies above.

Although the sudden deluge of water might be thought of as a boon by the unsuspecting visitor, the reality is far more deadly-- the ravines and canyons that the pilgrims tread turn into giant slipways for the avalanches of snow or hail built up on the canyon walls.

On the salt plains themselves, the salvage operation begins-- scavengers sort through the piled hail and ice, pulling out bodies and stripping valuables for resale, before cremating the dead in vast pyres. The scavengers themselves are paid to perform this cremation service, and to perform rudimentary last rites to the dead. If they were not, the bodies would likely be left, perfectly preserved in the freezing cold. In vast basalt fortresses, the Ministorum trains members of the Ecclesiarchy in proper worship of the Emperor. The freezing climate is appropriate setting for a cult that teaches veneration of the Sun-Emperor-- by his light alone does this world prosper. Those caught in dust or sand storms find that such events are made all the more horrid by the cold. Where gale force winds would not freeze one's blood within seconds, the salt whips wicked sharp, cutting through cloth and leather, and even giving some metals noticeable wear. In the aftermath of such storms, survivors find a lesser known secondary property of New Regina salt: it induces mild hallucination upon ingestion and inhalation. In the midst of a dust storm, victims inevitably inhale or ingest quite a bit of it. Some storm survivors are able to bear the mental brunt of it, and often speak of having visions of the Emperor bestowing mercy upon them. Others simply go mad.

Lightning storms are fairly common occurrences, but due to the properties of lightning storms, are unlikely to trouble pilgrims until they reach the plateaus proper. Here, weather vanes draw the lightning down into capacitor arrays for the fortress to draw upon in turn. Storm survivors occasionally report large, hulking figures seen in the distance on the salt plains, but these are typically dismissed as hallucinations from the salt.

The Squat Stars
When the (then tiny) Squat Guild of the Burned Bread found out about the Neglecta Vulnus Spumae and the Planet Deadstone with its 8 wasted battleships, they realised that such a monumental lack of attention from the Adminastratum could by used to their advantage and managed to secure their for their small guild no more then 5 different stars systems, making sure it looked to their fellow guilds that the Burned Bread were being sent to the Spumae as punishment for attempting take advantage of Administratum negligence.

They have also-- with the help of a few bribes (Neglecta Primus' mighty armour division comes to mind) and the lack of attention from the Administratum to mess with their tithe paid to resource allocated ratio-- continued to abuse Administratum negligence, meaning the Squat Stars will either pay as much as they get (raise an army of 30000 for the tithe only to have those exact same soldiers stationed on the planet they came from) to getting more then they give (send 8000 tons of steel and get allocated 9000 tons of steel) even though the stars are in a safe location and not at war. This makess the Squat Stars an active drain on Imperium resources.

Officially titled The Burned Bread Squat Systems (as all 5 systems have now grown to house more then one squat world)

New Aurora
A Frontier World currently undergoing colonisation. Contains several ancient ruins from the old Vulnus empire. Ancient human ruins dot the landscape all withered beyond repair and all seemingly abandoned at the same time. It also contains

"The Throne(Room)" A long abandoned throne room. It's construction is unlike any species's architecture recorded-- even the Necron and Ancient Eldar; It's dimensions are 5 X 3 X 10 Kilometers in unnervingly accurate measurements. The local and nonsector Inquisitors and local authorities have forbidden any tampering due to perceived curses. The Throne (Room) does not seem to take up any actual planetary space; it is possibly an example of spatial manipulation technology

as well as "The Sunken City", A city that was flooded and completely covered millennia ago by a huge and sudden deluge. The city was completely covered due to the geography/geology of the local area it rested upon, primarily due to the basin/valley they lived in and the higher than normal limestone-esque material found throughout the area which allowed the water to stay put even after so long.

However, studies cannot find where the sudden flood came from within a 50-100 kilometer radius. It is as if it came out of nowhere as if divine retribution-- virtually everything underwater is near perfectly preserved even after so long. The xenos species was bipedal and quite humanlike; their technology level was approximately late Iron Age with hints of steam power here and there. Despite efforts to demolish remains, the local planet prefers to keep it around as a nature preserve for local fauna and as a tourist trap to show off the hubris of foolish xenos. There are other less complete ruins of the xenos but all suggest they were righteously purged by the ancient Vulnuns.

Pelagus Crypt World
A small and incredibly humid Crypt World that rotates at a 45° angle around a super-heavy star. Home to a lot of corpses, a giant penguin that kills people for fun, and exactly one flying monster that also kills for fun. Also houses the ragged remains of a Tau fleet-- Ethereal Or'la hides the remains of his battle fleet around the planet. The size of the nearby star means that whenever an imperial ship seeks to enter the system, they can only de-warp at the very outskirts, giving the Tau time to cloak their ships and hide in the system's gas giant. The local Ministurum don't approve, but are convinced that if the Imperium at-large ever found out that they were harbouring Tau then the entire Planet would be purged (not an unfounded fear) and are hard at work keeping the local population loyal. Not that they have to as the local population are happy under Imperial rule; their only real problems come from the weather and local wildlife and the Tau seem tpo meek to fix that. All the Tau's Water caste are dead and Ethereal Or'la seems out-of-touch with what humans would be looking for in the Greater Good, making the Tau seem weak and feckless (the entire fleet hitting the bricks whenever any Imperial ship pops by to pay respects doesn't help). Or-la seems to think the populace welcomes the Greater Good. He is wrong.

Other things[edit]

Faust's Pillars

A sprawling nebula of several gargantuan columns, lit in greens and blues by the fledgling stars contained within. The cosmic dust in these columns plays with most conventional shipboard instruments, making environmental detection difficult. In addition, all psychic effects within the nebula are dampened. The light of the Astronomican, whilst present, is dimmed here, although entities of the warp suffer similar difficulties. To put it simply, this thing is the reason there are so few Astropaths in this sector.

Rumours of an ancient Archaotech world, teeming with treasure and lost secrets, have spurred many foolish captains into Faust's Pillars with dreams of riches beyond their wildest imaginings. Those who venture forth into the pillars do not often return. The other rumour of note is more sinister: a demon of the Warp, unbound from the Ruinous powers, has sheltered within the Columns for eons, lest one of the great Chaos Gods see and enslave them. Such a demon would be powerful, but desperate.

Of course, both rumours are completely unfounded, and thus far have no basis in fact.

Judgement's Rocks

There's a rather substantial asteroid belt between two gas giants orbiting the Star Salutis, mostly barren rock. Some of the asteroids, however, are the site of a small colony of the Imperium's faithful, the remnants of a Rogue Trader Ship come to wreck after warp jumping into the belt itself.

By the nature of things, most of the tech that allows Judgement's Rock to exist is considered tech heresy. This, combined with their unstable political status, left the surviving generations paranoid of persecution.

As such, the colony of Judgement's Rocks reconnected with the Imperium as a loyal and surpsingly well-armed ally some 500 years ago. Sincethen , there's been an ongoing political struggle between those who would champion the colony's devotion to The Emperor and sheer grit, and those who wish to declare them all Tech Heretics and purge the whole bloody lot of them.

Smuggler's Glory

A supposed nexus of uncharted Warp routes leading to all over the Imperium, although the location of the exit nodes change with each story's retelling. The one consistent feature behind each story is that this "Warp Nexus" is located just beyond the event horizon of a rather large black hole. Most captains familiar with this story consider it to be fiction, and those that pursue it to be complete idiots. Due to Neglecta's abundance of complete idiots, the story persists.

The Dome

Appears to be a particularly large black hole kept in check by some serious ancient human Archaotech. It is a black sphere seemingly made of glass, with a metal cube on top and another metal cube in orbit. The Ad-mech are in orbit as well-- they can't resist ancient human-made machines after all-- but are hesitant to tinker with the ancient human tech in case they inadvertently turn it off; the size and position of the black hole within would surely spell doom for the non-sector. It has thus become a sort-of base for tech priests, who are waiting for reinforcements or instructions on what to do, but due to all the problems in this sector, it's been about 200,0000 years now and no reinforcements, Titan Legions, or in fact anyone important will probably be ever sent here.

The Murdalation Complex
