The Fluff[edit]

History[edit]

Bluntly? There isn't much to know about Isaac. He's definitely a sidhe, and he made an... interesting entrance into the fae world, but he outright doesn't remember anything about his past. Just the memory of well, hitting the ground after jumping off a five story building. Professor Rayburn has been helping him get on his feet and he holds the eshu in pretty high regard for an Unseelie, but he is still occasionally derp (like with most technology).

Appearance[edit]

Mortal Seeming: Isaac is a handsome young man, perhaps twenty years old, lean and graceful much like a cat. His brown hair is cut just long enough to show it curling, his brown eyes gleam with a bit of mischief, and he prefers simple clothes he can move about in. Nothing fancy, maybe a bit brooding, though saying that to his face will get you a glare. There's something off though, in the way he walks and moves, the sharpest eyes can see a very faint wisp of shadow trailing behind him.

Fae Mien: The sidhe become more beautiful as a fae and Isaac is no exception. He changes from attractive to even mortals to a surreal glory, with pale white skin, angular features and sharply pointed ears. What is bizarre is the fact that he keeps his very plain coloring, brown hair and brown eyes. His voile doesn't change much, continuing to be a shirt and jeans and whatever else he is wearing. It's as if he avoids fanciful adornments to focus.

This simple looking jet-black blade only has one piece of ornamentation on it, a white ribbon around the hilt that has charred holes in the shape of runes. Isaac normally carries the sword within his own shadow, summoning it as needed in a whisper of mist. When it is actually in his hand, Isaac can burn a point of willpower to invoke its true power to add his Melee score to any Counterweaving attempt he makes. He refuses to name the weapon itself.

Merits and Flaws[edit]

  • Riastradh (5 point merit) - Isaac possesses an ability to enter a combat trance he calls a fugue, where he becomes basically a living force of destruction and havoc. He gets +2 dice to all chimerical combat rolls, but must roll a Difficulty 8 Willpower roll to leave battle.
  • Medium (2 point merit) - Possibly due to the near-death experience that was Isaac's Chrysalis, the sidhe is able to sense the dead. He tries to ignore it mostly.
  • Nightmares (1 point flaw) - The sidhe has bizarre dreams wake him up gasping and refusing to speak of them, keeping him from a good night's rest from time to time.
  • Surreal Quality (2 point flaw) - Something about Isaac's mortal side looks strange, something that draws people in and makes them want to know him. He doesn't mind so much at times, but that air of mystery gets the attention of those he'd rather NOT get bothered by.
  • Amnesia (2 point flaw + 2 from Unknown) - Much to Isaac's annoyance, he has a good chunk of his memories missing. Maybe that's why he doesn't take much seriously. There's another flaw floating there as well, but that's for the ST to know :3 (bastard).
