Published in 1986 by Columbia Games, HârnMaster's combat, armor and wounding mechanics are quite similar to those in The Riddle of Steel, published 16 years later. The last official publication for the system was the 3rd Edition corebook in 2003. Columbia Games has since focused on a line of system-neutral lore and background books dedicated to the Hârn setting, known as HârnWorld.
