The Mohu'awane are a faction in the setting of the Primordial Evolution Game, run by the namefag Indonesian Gentleman, and co-hosted by nongent. First appearing during the "Tribal Stage" of the Eastern Continent, the Mohu'awane are a tribe of Gantu run by FortuneHost.

Gantu are large shark-like beings, around 15 feet tall and have no shortage of upper body strength, as evinced by their broad shoulders and powerful arms. They have smooth, blue skin that fades into a white on the anterior regions of the chest, neck, and lower jaw, as well as a separate patch of white on their palms. The Gantu's shark-like faces possess a large blade decorating the tip, betraying their heritage as descendants of the Ramel creature. Females possess a smaller, duller blade, but other than this, possess no other differences from the males of their kind.

The Mohu'awane background is heavily based on the culture of the Polynesian islands, especially Hawaii. They live on the southern coast, specifically the beach, and because of this their carnivorous diet is comprised mostly of fish. While nowhere near complete, FortuneHost has even set up the beginnings of a constructed language for this tribe, one that has very few letters and is heavy on the vowels (despite trying to sound Hawaiian, one player noted that the vowel sounds were similar to Finnish. Oh well).

The Mohu'awane are ruled by a chieftan or cheiftaness. While they supposedly have the authority, these Gantu are an independent lot, so any of the few orders given are practically optional. If a gantu disagrees with a decision very strongly (again, rare, for the gantu are rather chill bunch) they can just pack up shop and leave.

Gantu are carnivores, and living on the beach means that the Mohu'awane diet comprises mostly of fish and other aquatic critters. This is supplemented by some large game gathered from the plains, but given how easy fish are to come by, and the danger involved in plains hunting, fish is the staple. (More to Come)
