Eltab is an more obscure demon lord who used to rule over the 248th layer of the Abyss, also known as The Hidden Layer. He was summoned into the Forgotten Realms by the wizards of Thay to fight the enemy nation of Mulhorand. After helping them, he proved to powerful for the wizards to banish back to the Abyss, so they imprisoned him underneath the Thayan capital of Eltabbar.
