Yeah, they still exist in the 41th millenium. The Illuminati were in the really old fluff as a human counterpart to the eldar Harlequins, who did what the [[Exorcists]] do to make them invisible to demons. They were related to the [[Star Child]] plot. However, in recent Horus Hersey fluff it seems that [[Malcador the Sigillite]] was one.

The Illuminati is mainly composed of humans who have not only survived possession by a Warp entity, but also managed to do the seemingly impossible, i.e. cast out the daemon from their own bodies.
