Before the [[Old Ones#Warhammer|Old Ones]] came to Mallus, an Empire of Insectoid beings once ruled in underground cities, with legions of enslaved cavemen. Then the Old Ones came and started fucking with shit, and the slaves rebelled. The Emperor of the Insectoids made a deal with the Chaos Gods for power but was still driven off in defeat, and hid himself away in his own temple dedicated to himself. He then was entrapped by the entrance collapsing, and he slowly mutated to fill the room and became hermaphroditic, becoming a see-through insectoid meatblob filled with developing swarms of minions and with psychic powers which he used millenia later to try and make an army of Greenskins and Dwarfs.
