Backgrounds
- Influence 5 - The Elemental Spiral, a forum consisting of a good chunk of the 'connected' Dragonblooded.
- Breeding 5 - Shamira's family on her father's side are very inbred. However, this also marked her with insane breeding, enough to rival the best of the First Age. Her elemental markings haven't shown up yet because of the scarring.
- Artifact 2 - The Tablet of Etherflame Combat.. This fine laptop was created by an Earth Aspect in Japan in response to his admin's complaints about accidentally melting her keyboard one day. The cherry-colored plastic looks just for show, but is actually a red jade alloy that renders the computer unaffected by a Fire Aspect's anima flux. It also has a few other little tricks, including a battery that can be recharged by either electricity or 1 mote of essence and perfect internet access.

- Elemental Concentration Trance - 5m, 1wp; Simple; One day - If all research materials are at hand, Shamira can cram a week's worth of study/training in a non-magical ability into one day. She can only use this Charm two days in a row without suffering a level of unsoakable lethal. The Charm can also help speed up research. Charms can be sped up as well, but they must be of Shamira's Aspect.
Awareness
- Third Awareness Excellency - 3m; Reflexive (4 for Attack, 6 for Defend); Combo-Ok; Instant - Shamira can reroll an Awareness roll and take the better roll.
- All-Encompassing Earth Sense - 2m; Simple; Leader; One scene - While this Charm is in effect and her feet on the ground, Shamira can not be surprised. She can extend this benefit to three others, for two motes apiece.
Resistance
- First Resistance Excellency - 1m per 2 dice; Reflexive (1 for Attack, 2 for Defend); Combo-Ok; Instant - Shamira can add up to two dice to a Resistance roll.
- Strength of Stone - 2m per person; Simple; Combo-Ok, Touch; One Scene - Shamira can mediate on a small piece of Earth, then add one dot to her Strength and Stamina for the scene. She may give this boost to three others, who all must be holding hands with her, and holding some Earth as well. These dots count against Charm bonus dice limits.
Dodge
- Third Dodge Excellency - 3m; Reflexive (4 for Attack, 6 for Defend); Combo-Ok; Instant - Shamira can increase her DDV by 2.
- Safety Among Enemies - 3m, 1wp; Reflexive (5); Combo-Ok, Instant - If Shamira successfully dodges an attack due to Step 5 defenses, she can have it hit someone else within three yards of her. It counts solely as an attack.
- Elemental Defense Technique - 5m; Simple; Elemental, Leader 6, Obvious; One scene - Any Archery attacks on a personal scale are completely negated by the aura of fire around Shamira, and as a Fire Aspect, the aura makes an elemental hazard of Damage 2L/action, Trauma 3. She also gets 2L/2B stackable soak against weapons not made from a magical material.
Presence
- Glowing Coal Radiance - 2m; Reflexive (2); Combo-OK, Dynast, Emotion, Leader, Obvious, War; One action - Shamira creates a fear-based internal penalty of 4 to all physical and social attacks aimed solely at her by anyone within three yards with a MDV of 6. If you spend 2wp (4wp if descendant), you are immune for the scene.
- Passion Transmuting Nuance - 3m; Simple (Speed 5 in long ticks); Emotion, Social; One scene - This Charm can't be the first one used in Social combat, but when it is used, Shamira must roll (Manipulation + Presence + Essence) against the target's MDV minus one per dot of Essence Shamira is higher. If successful, the attacks that play off the new emotional state of the target provide the same benefits and drawbacks as a high-rated Virtue, and their Temperance is down to 1 (unless it's her primary virtue) for the scene. 1 wp frees the victim from the Charm
Socialize
- First Socialize Excellency - 1m per 2 dice; Reflexive (1 for Attack, 2 for Defend); Combo-Ok; Instant - Shamira can add up to four dice to a Socialize roll.
- Sweeten-the-Tap Method - 2m; Simple; Combo-OK, Emotion; One scene - Shamira's presence improves the quality, taste, and strength of liquor in a social event of Magnitude 4 or less. If someone drinks this booze, they suffer -1 to MDV. However, if someone botches a Socialize roll, they have to pay 1wp to not Join Battle agaisnt the attacker in their next attacker as an unnatural compulsion.
Merits, Flaws, and Temporary Backgrounds
Flaws
- Enemy 2 - Shamira's maternal grandparents are fanatical Orthodox Jews, and just a little inbred. The Shaltiels are the reason why Shamira is even scarred in the first place, and may be why she is even a Dragonblooded as well...
