Morathi is the perverted, incestuous, so-sexy-you'll-die-for-real-lolz high sorceress of the Dark Elves in Warhammer Fantasy and pretty much a complete bitch as she was responsible for a lot of the actions that screwed over elfkind. Don't believe us? Read and weep oh dear reader.

Actually, disregard the above. It seems Slaanesh has dragged Morathi off by the hair now back to his/her palace in the realm of Chaos, so we no longer have to worry about that calleous old bitch. Hurrah!

The dim past

She was rescued by the first Phoenix King Aenarion from a chaos slave caravan and he was so taken with her that he took her to be his new wife, having recently lost his first wife the Everqueen to a daemonic attack. Considering her actions later, the rumours of her being a Slaaneshi sorceress and using her magicks to charm Aenarion were most likely true. She then gave him a son, Malekith and no mention was made of her until after Aenarion had died in Caledor's desperate last gambit.

When the High Elf lords decided to pass over her son in favour of a different candidate for the Phoenix Throne, she flew into a rage. While Malekith (seemed) to agree with this, Morathi did not and began scheming. She nurtured and helped the cults of pleasure to grow amongst the high elves, which darkened the souls of many of her fellow elves. She was made a scapegoat on Malekith's return, to help secure his image as a loyal agent to the Phoenix throne. After his disastrous attempt to seize power though, it was Morathi who used her vile magic to keep him alive and nurse him back to health. When he was revived, turned into his new identity as the Witch King, it was Morathi who supported and guided him in the war to claim power.

As the High Elves though turned the tide, it was Morathi who suggested to Malekith to unravel the great vortex and bring daemonkind to their side as allies. It was here she showed her true colours: either she was so power hunger she thought she could control the daemons; in their pockets and willing to do their bidding; or so crazy she didn't care either way. It was fortunate this plan backfired majestically although it failed to kill the newly emerging Dark Elves; instead on top of great floating castles they fled northwards and founded a new kingdom, Naggaroth.

A new land, the United States of Ameri...Naggaroth!

It was in this new land that Morathi worked hard to establish the power of the cult of pleasure anew but Malekith was having none of that, seeing it was a challenge to his totalitarian regime but also perhaps he had enough sense to see how much it had failed him so far. He placed Khaine as the centrefold in the state religion and made his mother accept it. Secretly though the cult of pleasure lives on, locked in a constant struggle with the followers of Khaine. In Storm of Chaos, Morathi brought the Cult of Slaanesh back and allied them with Warriors of Chaos before flaunting themselves openly in Naggaroth. This was implied to put Naggaroth in a civil/religious war between the Temple of Khaine and the Cult of Slaanesh, but Games Workshop retconned Storm of Chaos out of existence so now this never happened.

Above all of this Morathi reigns, in a position of power only second to her son....and he won't let her forget that.

In the modern day Morathi now spends her time dabbling (sexing) with daemons and trolling her rival Helleborn who she refuses access to the original cauldron of blood, a relic of Khaine which gives youth at the cost of many blood sacrifices.

It is HEAVILY implied that she is having carnal relations with her son in the background material...who is fused to a suit of magical armour...which he can't take off...yes it makes us scratch our heads in confusion too, unless he has an armoured dick...no no no we won't go there! Anyway her model is one of the raciest in the Warhammer range. She wears a metal thong and little else, her perfect tits on display for everyone to see, even helpfully pushed upwards for the best possible angle. This is because her son is so lacking in sex appeal she must make up for both of them....oh the harsh duties she must do!

The End Times

In an effort to reboot Warhammer Fantasy, as it had been neglected for so long in favour of yet another space marine chapter update, Games Workshop hastened the End Times upon the Warhammer world, where the slow slide into destruction becomes a non-stop express train. In the canon now Naggaroth has become overrun with the legions of Khorne and Ghrond destroyed. Malekith has said to have finally ditched the old bag and left her in her tower. She left in disguise and tried to make Tyrion Aenarion 2.0 so she could have him back. After Tyrion was killed on the Isle of the Dead, Morathi entered Caledor's vortex to wreck the world, where Slaanesh came along and dragged her off to the realm of Chaos and it isn't for tea and cake boys and girls. Considering this, Morathi is one of the list of 'dead' characters now in the canon although knowing Chaos she will probs come back as a daemon princess just for laughs and giggles...
