Apparently at some point in time the Praetorian's went to a deserted world filled to the brim with orks with nothing but their bolt action flashlights and a handful of tallarn guardsmen to back them up. Needless to say the Praetorians lost a few major battles including one titled "Battle of Big Toof River". Funny, sounds just like what happened to the British army in real life against the Zulus in Africa… Then again, I doubt GW would ever take a real life event AND/OR people and turn it into a board game idea… Cough cough Death Korps of Krieg and Germany cough cough… | |||

The Praetorian Guard are Africa Theater British soldiers in SPEHSS.
They wear British-esque uniforms uniforms that are British and look rather classy.
Apparently at some point in time the Praetorian's went to a deserted world filled to the brim with orks with nothing but their bolt action flashlights and a handful of tallarn guardsmen to back them up.
