Tezca, the Ruler of Sun and Fire, is the Maztican god of the sun, fire, and heat.

Lore

Tezca was one of the sons of Kukul and Maztica, along with his twin Azul. His gift to humanity after their creation was fire. He, along with his brothers, allied with Zaltec against Qotal.

Appearance

Tezca appears as giant humanoid with orange skin, and anything that touches it bursts into flames. His face is surrounded by fire, and trailing smoke in place of his hair.

Worshippers

Tezca is worshipped as the bringer of life most often, though he's also worshipped as the bringer of warmth and light in the night, and one who made cooking possible. Of course, he's also very hungry for sacrifices, and his clerics rip out the heart of an unfortunate victim every sunset and offer it to an idol of Tezca. This way they seek to ensure that the sun god returns the next day.
