An Upcoming 70 minute CGI thriller film based on the Warhammer 40K universe featuring the Ultramarines chapter as the protagonists. The screenplay is to be written by Dan Abnett, esteemed and critically acclaimed Black Library author of Warhammer Fantasy and 40k fiction. While also utilizing the cutting-edge graphics technology of Image Metrics. The film will be starring The Great John Hurt, who played Emperor Caligula in the BBC miniseries 'I, Claudius', who will star in the film as Carnak. (mostly because his son plays the tabletop) Sean Pertwee (The guy who played the third incarnation of the Doctor from Dr Who.) and Terrance Stamp. The actors will mostly be lending their voices and faces to the film. Oh yeah, and the director is Martyn Pick. | An Upcoming 70 minute CGI thriller film based on the Warhammer 40K universe featuring the Ultramarines chapter as the protagonists. The title says it all
Bloodquest
A CGI-Movie that never came to be.It was going to be based on the comic collection Bloodquest.
Inquisitor
A short film that depicted Dark Angels and an Inquisitor exploring a monolith filled with World eaters. To be honest, the movie didn't quite make any sense.
Damnatus
A german Fan-Film about some IGs,a Psyker and an Enginseer investigating some weird shit going on with those wacky chaos cultists (Sadly, they are not the annoying types of cultists).
Ultramarines:The Movie
It has recently been announced that the Imperial Fists Chapter will be appearing in the film.
The Film seems to be shaping up better than most 40K films.
And please, if you have any of the following problems with the film, (eg: You hate the chapter, you don't like how the marines are designed, you hate the chapter.) do keep the following points in mind.
1. You would all be bitching if John Hurt said anything else,
EG: John Hurt: And the greatest amongst them, are the Ultramarines. Neckbeards: OMGWTF?! STFU SMURF! SPACE WOLVES FTW!
John Hurt: And the greatest amongst them, are the Space Wolves. Neckbeards: FUCK YOU! STFU PUPPY! IRON HANDS FTFW!!!111!!!
John Hurt: And the greatest amongst them, are the Iron Hands. Neckbeards: RRRRRAAAAAGE!!!!111!!! BLOOOOOOOD ANNNNNGEEEEELLLLSSSS!!!!!1111! D:<<<
John Hurt: And the greatest amongst them, are the Grey Knights. Neckbeards: This should still be about <insert your chosen chapter here>!
2. If you feel that the designs of the marines are bad; keep in mind that GW is overseeing all production. Meaning that they're looking at everything and approving and disapproving of anything that isn't true to the cannon.
3. If you think the whole film will be bad because you didn't like a 5 second teaser showcasing the graphics.... just kill yourself. Seriously.
4. If you don't like that John Hurt's character seemed old, bear in mind that Space Marines DO get to look that old.
5. If you don't like John Hurt's voice acting, fuck off. Seriously.
