Michael B. Lee is a writer credited as the line developer for the White Wolf game, Demon: The Fallen. He has contributed to more than a dozen or so pen-and-paper RPGs, and currently writes for the Black Library. Of note among his works are a bunch of Warhammer Fantasy novels, including, in collaboration with Dan Abnett, the Malus Darkblade series, the Nagash series, and, for 40k, the Dark Angels Horus Heresy novel Fallen Angels as well as several Crimson Fists stories.
Of varying quality as a writer; the dark blade novels are good (though some of them are co penned by Annett). The Nagash books could of been some of the very best, but the first is a slog of a read, endless descriptions of endless battles and jumping timelines. However in his defence this is the nature of the lore and things pick up later in the trilogy when we get under the skin of the Lahmian characters.
He is not C.L.Werner.
