Background

Waturi thought she'd go through life as just another orphan, living out her life in the destroyed parts of Chiaroscuro. She grew up knowing that It's Good To Be Rich, and that she wasn't, watching enviously as everyone else got all of the good things in life. She wasn't even particularly good at thievery, though as a result she became very good at dodging the lawmen. Of course, this being Exalted, it hardly ends there.

She always tried every little thing she could get her hand on, if only to pretend she actually owned the things she played with. Upon trying to ride someone else's Simhata, this came back to bite her. The beast went wild through the streets, escaping the stables it was tied to and roaming all through the city with the hapless Waturi on board. She clung to it as hard as she could, and soon started trying to steer it when she had a proper grip, finding it surprisingly easy. When she guided it back (at a walk) to the owner, she realized that people were bowing to her in respect. Unsure as to what was going on but willing to run with it, she took the lion-horse and whatever else they offered "her holiness" and left.


Appearance

Waturi stands about 5'8", and has a normally proportioned yet beautiful body, one a bit less tan than expected in the South. Her hair is straight and black as the night, occasionally tied but usually left flowing and long.
She wears elegant but unrestraining clothes, silken robes and the like of more regal shades of purples and reds and black, movable enough that she can rider her Simhata or fight just fine while still looking stunning.
