Background

Struck From The Record was a simple young boy of the north, until he was picked up by a group of Sidereals at the tender age of two months old. He spent the rest of his childhood in rather intensive training in the Forbidding Manse of Ivy since his fate revealed he would eventually be a Chosen of Secrets. He learned quickly and rather well from all of his mentors, and completed his requisite celestial training well before the ordained time of his exaltation. He began to study under the tutelage of a sifu to learn the secrets of the Crystal Chameleon style. Eventually the ordained day of his exaltation came, and Jupiter herself came to visit him. She spoke with him in private, though about what exactly isn't known to anyone but her - not even him. After the exhilarating experience of his exaltation, Jupiter touched him once lightly on the forehead, and spoke the simple words "You are now struck from the record." And with that... he had absolutely no memory of the previous moments of his life, besides the complex inner workings of the Celestial Bureaucracy and other things relating to his job. He didn't know his name, or even where he lived... and while other Sidereals could remember him, they could not discern these details either.

At length, they discovered his home - a rather impressive celestial manse whose owner was simply noted as "Struck From The Record." As this was the first thing he really remembered well, he took this to mean it must surely be his name. Eventually some other possessions of his found their way back to him through a long and arduous process of recovery, but no information on who he was (or indeed any of his previous exaltations) could be recovered. Everything turned up simply "Struck From The Record" or "Sealed by the order of the Maiden of Secrets."

Struck From The Record didn't know where to start, but he knew a few things about himself.. he had friends in the Gold Faction, and the Forbidding Manse of Ivy... a sifu of the Crystal Chameleon Style, and a certain flair for being able to take things from people without their noticing. He decided he would just go about doing his job, and following his passions until he eventually found something that struck his memory as familiar. Thus far.. nothing has.

Absence - 2m reflexive combo-ok. Removes DDV penalties for a single attack.

Duck Fate - 10m reflexive combo-basic. PD dodge with a flaw of "Roll dex+dodge at a difficulty of the attacker's essence.". Works for anything except Limit Break or Pattern Bite

LORE -

Methodology of Secrets 5m. Reflexive. Until the character sleeps. Gain three free specialty dice.

LARCENY -

Avoiding the Truth Technique - 3m. Fate, Illusion, Virtue (conviction) Add larceny successes to a social roll to make the target believe what your saying ISN'T true.


STEALTH -

Soft Presence Practice 2m, supplemental. One action. While the charm is active, divide the number of motes spent by half for the purposes of discerning anima flare. When combo'd, it removes the necessary anima flare and may be combo'd with almost any charm.

Blinding The Boar 5m + 1wp. Simple. Combo-Basic. Virtue(Valor) Five Actions. Roll manip+stealth, one success means that no one can determine any details about the sidereal

MARTIAL ARTS:

Just Another Branch Deceit - 4m Supplemental. Combo-basic. Adds three successes to an attempt to re-establish surprise, four if the character is under 50% or greater cover.

Light-Treading Technique 3m + 1wp. Reflexive. Combo-OK. Obvious. One Scene. Add MA to Dash and move, and +1 dvs against ranged attacks

Flashing Passage 2m + 1wp. Supplemental. Combo-OK. Obvious. One action. Supplements a dash, which cannot be a part of a flurry. Quadruple the distance traveled. In addition, the character is invisible for this passage (Fails against things which detect perfect invisibility automatically)

Crystal Chameleon Form 6m Supplemental. One Scene. Form-Type, Obvious. The character's exact location becomes impossible to determine, imposing a -2 external penalty to hit them. The character is considered to always be capable of re-establishing surprise.

Flashing Leaves Evasion 6m Reflexive Combo-OK Obvious. PD Dodge in step 3, meaning that rerolls (step 4) can bypass it, as well as attacks which are undodgeable or unexpected, so it carries no real flaw.

Razor-Edged Prism Assault 7m + 1wp. Extra Action. Combo OK. Obvious. Magical flurry of (Essence) attacks, each one carrying a dv penalty for the opponent equal to the number of attacks in the flurry (+ onslaught)
