Douglas Niles is a game designer for Dungeons & Dragons. He brought a LOT to the later stage of AD&D's first edition: BATTLESYSTEM!! with Michael Dobson, and also the Dungeoneers Survival Guide. He wrote Ironhelm, Viperhand, and Feathered Dragon, by all accounts a subpar fan-fiction of the Conquest Of Mexico; this half-assed worldbuilding became the Maztica setting.
