Chainsword

The Chainsword is a fuckawesome meele weapon, heavily fielded by Imperial forces although the Eldar, Orks, and Chaos Space Marines also use the weapon. As its name mentions, the chainsword is a twin-bladed weapon with a saw blade in-between, that's powered by a motor mounted on the hilt of the weapon and activated with a trigger that is present on the grip of the weapon. Although the Chainsword is virtually issued to most Imperial Guard forces, the sword is most famous with the Spehss mahreens who widely fields the weapon as the primary weapon of their assault troops and veteran soldiers.
