Demon Princess of Bindings, Driders and Vermin, the Abyssal power known as the Creeping Queen has a horrifically /d/eviant mindset for a creature that should be so simple in her tastes. Mazmezz appears as a grotesque parody of a spider; a great, roughly spherical body covered in writhing hair saved for an obscene maw on one portion decked with fangs and thrashing pedipalps, with an ever-shifting and too-great abundance of insectile legs jutting randomly from her body. These limbs are tipped with claws, pincers and spinnerets. However, she can weave her own silk around her bloated form in order to assume beautiful guises, most commonly a beautiful woman or female drider, and she relishes collecting attractive individuals and keeping them as part of her trophy-harem.

Though most popular with arachnid races like driders and ettercaps, she also has worshippers, mostly amongst hardcore/insane bondage freaks or the kind of people inclined to worship vermin - these rarely gather in large enough numbers to form full-fledged cults, however, and are usually just lone loonies. She has enough of a sway over Golarion's Drow to be considered the Pathfinder equivalent of Lolth. Ironically, even other demons regard her with disgust and hatred, which may be because Mazmezz is the reputed mother of the Bebeliths, the demon-eating giant spider-fiends that prowl the Abyss.

Mazmezz's holy symbol is a human skull at the center of a spider's web, and her worship involves binding a sacrificial victim up so deeply that only a few key areas are exposed to torture with needles, small knives and poisonous vermin. Needless to say, her boons revolve around a combination of magically creating or empowering snares - including the ability to create a web that traps a victim in temporal stasis - and the ability to produce venom or assume the shape of a giant spider.

Mazmezz rules over Khavak-Vog, a labyrinthine hive-structure woven from the silk of herself and her countless progeny.
