Background

Ilios comes from a small town in An-Teng called Hidden in Silence. He was of the ability to become a Judge appointed by one of the Princes, and guide his village with wisdom to prosperity, eventually becoming the new Capital city. That is, if he receive the Exaltation. He was appointed, but eventually he was replaced due to his failure at making the town better with his enemy nobleman, Jilar. Jilar was an even worse Judge, and ran the town into the ground. Hopeless and destitute, Ilios was mortified at his home town's eventual decline into insignificance. Until he was contacted by She Who Lives in Her Name.

Appearance

Appears as a young man with narrow features. His hair is black and long, ending at his shoulders. His eyes have no color, but are instead 2 eyes with many more eyes in them, from his First Circle Demon coadjutor aalu, and wears a special set of glasses which attempt to obscure his eyes and improve his vision. He is tall and lean, not very muscular or strong, with a headband over his forehead, with strings to tie the glasses to it.

Cecelyne

  • Transcendent Desert Creature: Permanent - No negative penalties or effects from places of desolation. All foraging rolls of difficulty 4+ have difficulty 1 instead, but impossible cannot become possible. Total Penalty for starvation or thirst cannot exceed -3 in a place of desolation, and waste is no longer produced. All mundane attempts to track the character automatically fail with zero successes unless the character wants to be tracked; magically assisted tracking takes an external penalty equal to the Infernal's Essence instead. Adds Essence rating to the difficulty of all efforts to notice him with an awareness roll in a place of physical desolation, and may be turned on or off at will.
  • Verdant Emptiness Endowment: 10m, 1wp; Sorcerous, Shaping, Training; Instant - When the Infernal witnesses a person wishing or speaking a desire for something, he may use this charm to grant it if he is within Essence yards, and the target gains one dot of the attribute, ability, or specialty appropriate to his wish over the course of a scene. The beneficiary is then indebted to the Infernal for any one task, which is not impossible, and will obey knowing that doom follows them if they fail to obey. After a month or it becomes impossible, the task ends. If they stop working to the task, they suffer a number of botches equal the Infernal's Essence Rating, and linger until the worst time. The Infernal may use this on himself, in which case he owes himself nothing.
