Eisk Jaat are a race of planetouched dwarf-kin from the World Axis cosmology of Dungeons & Dragons, and loosely analogous to the Frost Dwarf of 3rd edition. Introduced in the Elemental Chaos splatbook "The Plane Below", they are basically the icy equivalent to Azers; dwarves whose ancestors spent so long as slaves to the Frost Giants that they mutated into icy elementals themselves. Whilst notoriously malevolent, especially amongst those tribes who still serve Frost Giants, those who've escaped slavery to set up shop in the wintery portions of the mortal world, the Feywild or in the Shadowfell have "tempered their wickedness" through exposure to other races, and are often allied with the fey of the Winter Court and the forces of the Raven Queen.
