Grotsnag is an Goblin special character from the "Bugman's Lament" campaign that ran in the pages of White Dwarf, meaning he is intended to be a minor player in the grand history of greenskin heroes and not used outside of the special scenario, though of course you can do so if your opponent agrees.

Leader of the Red Tooth Bandits, a band of wolf-riding goblin plunderers from the Black Mountains, the arrogant Grotsnag is a nuisance to the southern dwellers of the empire, Man and Dwarf alike. Though his ego far outstrips his skills, he is genuinely cunning and has a particular knack for luring enemies into unwise tactical decisions through the use of inventively profane taunts and obnoxious mockery.

Mechanically, Grotsnag is a Goblin Big Boss (1 Hero Choice) who has Movement 4, Weapon Skill 4, Ballistic Skill 4, Strength 4, Toughness 3, Wounds 2, Initiative 4, Attacks 3 and Leadership 7. He carries a hand weapon, a short bow, a shield, and the O&G magic items Nobbla's 'Elmet and Wollopa's One Hit Wunda. He has the special rule Taunt, which lets him target a single enemy unit within 12" at the start of each enemy's turn; that unit must pass a Leadership test or immediately try to charge Grotsnag, who can react to this charge as normal.

Grotsnag comes mounted on Snarler, his hand-reared alpha giant wolf. Snarler has the following unique profile instead of the standard Giant Wolf profile; Movement 9, Weapon Skill 3, Ballistic Skill 0, Strength 4, Toughness 3, Wounds 1, Initiative 3, Attacks 2 and Leadership 7. He counts as Fast Cavalry, as does his rider.
