Essari Evolution Game/Triumphic Era
Second era of the Essari Evolution Game
Events Timeline[edit | edit source]
Triumphic Start[edit | edit source]

The Fredanian Era comes to an end. The Comet Storm passes through the solar system, leaving Essari, and what remains of its life to pick up the pieces. And yet in spite of this, life will trudge on, and diversify once more. We leave the Fredanian Era at 82 million years of history, and as life starts again we enter the Triumphic Era. Much of the lands that were once fertile to life have been washed of life, with the exception of a few lucky species. The oceans have been purged of a great deal of life too, but what's left is now free to fill the niches that have been left.
The world's has been scarred, but new opportunities abound as the products of the comets that ended a majority of life briefly. The presence of new exposed minerals, strange materials, something else now lies in the waters in wait for the first organisms to discover.

Early Triumphic[edit | edit source]
The Early Triumphic Era that was left with only a handful of survivng organisms of the previous extinction had become the perfect opportunity for life to hit the accelerator on Essari. In just 20 million years, life had completely bounced back, flourishing across the world. While the planet may now be cooler than its tropical past, this has only allowed for life to adapt and take on new and strange forms. In some cases life has evolved so fast in some organisms, that their predecessors even find themselves unable to compete and slowly fading from the world.
Volcanic activity and the movement of the landmasses has brought to the surface of the land the first freshwater rivers. They carve their way through the land, connecting to valleys, and eventually the ocean itself. Over the millions of years, the water that feeds into these valleys forms the first bodies of freshwater. Further inland, the new "Grass" has begun overtaking the land that algea moss once dominated alone. This and other pioneering land plants have built the foundation for the first stable terrestrial ecosystem, as even more oxygen is added to the atmosphere.
In the warm coasts and tropical seas, coral reefs have also returned, with a handful of coral species and sessile Branomes helping to rebuild these ecosystems. Their vibrant colors conceal the arms race that Braf, Mulu, and Bzol descendent have been waging against one another in these tropical seas.
In the open ocean, Braffbergs have begun to conglomerated, forming massive colonies, with some even rivaling the young continents of Essari. These colonies that sit in the motionless regions of the ocean have in turn become their own ecosystems, being buoyant enough to support even the Braffious Fruit Trees, and provide a home for dozens of other organisms. Underneath and near these braffbergs. Dervish Cerar and Hydra Braf compete for dominance as the apex predator of the all the ocean.
The cooler waters near the poles have become devoid of coral reefs populations of the last era. And yet in their place a sessile descendent of the algafeesh have become the Kelp-like forests that also provided food and shelter for many species that live in these colder habitats. It is here too that we see the first advanced adaptations to the cold, such as the Warm Braf that now lurk the on the seafloor on the arctic waters.
