Perhaps a little harsh as there are the some good stories in there (that said as a body of work it does get way to philosophical and convoluted for all, but the most devoted). Best advise is try the [Elric] books (which formed the basis for elements of D&D and quite a lot of WFB) and if you can enjoy them, maybe try some of the others.
