Gormeel
The Gormeels are a mutant offshoot species of Slaadi that are Lawful by default. They first appeared in Dragon Magazine #306 in the section Killing Cousins with stats outlined on pages 57-58.
Background[edit | edit source]
Unlike most Slaadi, Gormeels are Lawful and managed to escape the notice of the Slaad Lords. The Githzerai encountered them on an early scouting trip into Limbo and quickly allied with them.
Physiology[edit | edit source]
They are large-sized reptilian quadruped with ape-like forearms that can be coloured from purple to greyish-green. Their lizard-like heads contain a mouth with rows of needle-like teeth and bony eyebrow ridges. Due to their size, Gormeels often act as combat mounts for Githzerai, who either ride them in baskets or bareback. Gormeels can take on the appearance of Githzerai whenever they want for as long as they choose. They can use this form to disguise themself from Slaadi hunters or utilize weapons and armour intended for humanoids.
