The Razorwing in SPESS!

Whilst looking somewhat similar to the Razorwing Jetfighter, the Raptor Fighter performs a different niche than its more airborne cousin.

The Raptor Fighter is the standard Dark Eldar space Attack Craft. Like their Eldar cousins' Darkstar Fighters, the Raptor is able to outfight and outlast "lesser" races' fighters, allowing them to operate for extended periods of time before being forced to return for refuelling and rearming. They are armed similiarly to that of the Razorwing, but with the added equipment that allows the pilot to survive if there is a breach in the hull from the vacuum of space.

Battlefleet Gothic Armada 1 & 2[edit | edit source]

Despite the fluff alluding to its superiority, in Battlefleet Gothic Armada, the Raptor Fighter is the Dark Eldar's primary fighter craft and performs the same role as the rest of the other factions. It shares with their more celibate kin, by being one of the two fighters with the highest dodge stats, making it one of the best fighters in the game.
