This is just some homebrew rules for using the Primarchs in 30k in 8th Edition. Either use this custom army list, https://www.dropbox.com/s/8axo6uywjg0ax61/Legiones%20Astartes%208th%20Ed%20Compilation.pdf?dl=0, or you can use the Index Imperium 1/Index Chaos to play them.

Individual Rules

Horus

Horus is a single model armed with Worldbreaker and the Talon of the Warmaster. Only one of this model may be included in your army.

Special Rules:

The Serpent's Scales: Horus has a 3+ invulnerable save. In addition, Horus may Deny the Witch as if he was a psyker and he may Deny the Witch only against psychic powers that target him (he may attempt to deny each power a single time, and may deny as many times as he is targeted by psychic powers).


Primarch of the XVI: All Sons of Horus units within 6" of Horus may re-roll all failed to hit and to wound rolls.


Sire of the Sons of Horus: Horus gains D3 Attacks when fighting either a unit with majority WS 3+ or worse, or if he fights any Character that has lost any wounds (both bonuses stack). In addition, if your army is Battle-forged, you receive an additional 3 Command Points if Horus is your Warlord.


Teleport Strike: During deployment, you may set up this model in a teleportarium instead of placing him on the battlefield. At the end of any of your Movement phases Horus may use a teleport strike to arrive on the batttlefield - set up anywhere on the battlefield that is more than 9" away from any enemy models.


God of War: If your army is Battle-forged, you receive an additional 3 Command Points if Horus is your Warlord. In addition, friendly Sons of Horus units within 6" of Horus may use his Leadership instead of their own.

Angron

Angron is a single model armed with Gorefather & Gorechild and Spite Furnace. Only one of this model may be included in your army.

Special Rules:

The Armour of Mars: Angron has a 4+ invulnerable save.


Primarch of the XII: All World Eater units within 6" of Angron may re-roll all failed to hit and to wound rolls.


Sire of the World Eaters: Angron may fight twice per Fight phase. In addition, he may re-roll all failed charge rolls.


The Butcher's Nails: For every roll of 6+ to hit in the Fight phase, Angron may immediately make an additional attack (these attacks do not generate more attacks)

Fulgrim

Fulgrim is a single model armed with either The Blade of the Laer or Fireblade and Firebrand. Only one of this model may be included in your army.

Special Rules:

The Gilded Panoply: Fulgrim has a 4+ invulnerable save, that is increased to 3+ against close combat attacks.


Primarch of the III: All Emperor's Children units within 6" of Fulgrim may re-roll all failed to hit and to wound rolls.


Sire of the Emperor's Children: Fulgrim can still shoot and charge in a turn in which he Fell Back. In addition, if your army is Battle-forged, you receive an additional 2 Command Points if Fulgrim is your Warlord.


Sublime Swordsman: Fulgrim can always fight first in the Fight phase, even if he didn't charge. If the enemy has units that have charged, or that have a similar ability, then alternate choosing units to fight with, starting with the player whose turn is taking place.


Strategic Planning: All Emperor's Children units within 6" of Fulgrim may add 1 to Advance and Charge rolls.

Mortarion

Mortarion is a single model armed Silence, The Lantern and Phosphex bomb canisters. Only one of this model may be included in your army.

The Barbaran Plate: Mortarion has a 4+ invulnerable save.


Primarch of the XIV: All Death Guard units within 6" of Mortarion may re-roll all failed to hit and to wound rolls.


Sire of the Death Guard: All Death Guard unit's within 6" of Mortarion may still shoot after Falling Back. In addition, if your army is Battle-forged, you receive an additional 2 Command Points if Mortarion is your Warlord.


Preturnatural Resilience: Roll a dice each time Mortarion loses a wound. On a 5+, the damage is ignored and he does not lose a wound. In addition, Mortarion recovers 1 wound at the begining of each of your turns.


Witch Spite: Mortarion may Deny the Witch as if he was a psyker and he may Deny the Witch only against psychic powers that target him (he may attempt to deny each power a single time, and may deny as many times as he is targeted by psychic powers).


Shadow of the Reaper: All enemy units within 12" of Mortarion have -1 Leadership. In addition, when Mortarion advances, he moves 6" instead of rolling and he may charge after advancing.

Ferrus Manus

Ferrus Manus is a single model armed with Metallic Fists and Medusan Carapace weapon systems. He may be armed with Forgebreaker. Only one of this model may be included in your army.

Special Rules:

The Medusan Carapace: Ferrus Manus has a 3+ invulnerable save. In addition, all attacks against Ferrus Manus have 1 point worse Ap than normal (for example, an Ap-2 weapon would be decreased to Ap-1).


Primarch of the X: All Iron Hand units within 6" of Ferrus Manus may re-roll any failed to hit and to wound rolls. In addition, if your army is Battle-forged, you receive an additional 2 Command Points if Ferrus Manus is your Warlord.


Sire of the Iron Hands: Ferrus Manus may fire with every ranged profile on his Medusan Carapace weapons systems every turn (you must still choose between the two different Plasma Blaster profiles) and at different targets if you wish. In addition, Ferrus Manus may advance and fire Assault weapons without the -1 to hit penalty.
